After this and the fact that my mates had no chance vs this great players (stuve and steffen) so we decided to give up. Using no cover isn't. Because cover is a core component of the entire combat system. The fact that JLI, 1cp 280mp infantry can beat even Obers, who are the latest arriving and some of the most expensive in the entire game is an absolute testiment to their power, that's before even considering they get a 50%accuracy bonus out of camo and camo allows them to select which engagements they want to fight. This test is SPECIFICALLY testing the best long range squad, using ONLY long range squads, why would they test at any range but each squads optimal range? It's best case scenario for all those units and most likley the targets they will be facing (because trying to close against a long range squad is a guaranteed lost match up, as they can deal damage to you while receiving next to none) or is there something about this match up that you feel is skewed towards a particular long range specialist that makes it far and above other long range specialists? But for the sake of fairness I too recommend we try the tests at 0 range on neg cover as it is the only way to possibly replicate the real game scenario of how one would use a long range squad. And after that, I would like to match up shocks, Thompson rangers and commandos at 40 range so we can determine who (if any) is the king of CQB! i bet 70% of the real combats are not very good like this. the real game shows you: most fights will be in midrange, on the move, come to close combats, etc etc not one single dumb monky would stay behind the farest range it is posible when fighting JLI or obers...all enemys would try to come in mid/close range or flank you around corners etc the 1ww szenario you discripe works not in the real game and not vs good players... Thread: Can we adjust the Scott already?4 Mar 2019, 10:16 AM Jump back to quoted post4 Mar 2019, 10:11 AMKatitof If you invest 140 fuel into pure anti infantry firepower, it better be great... 140 isnt this much to have this high mobile, huge range, high accurracy, mostly safe vs enemy attacks, providing smoke unit which wipe often. what cost a brumbar? what micro does need a brummbar? has it this huge range? smoke? high mobilty? can wipe from safe distance? i would say: same cost, very high micro, no, no, yes there is a minimum 400% chance to lose a brummbar when using than losing a scott...cause..u know this high long range a scott has.. Thread: Can we adjust the Scott already?4 Mar 2019, 10:08 AM EVERYONE who play with 2 Scotts say: it is such a great unit...you can look every stream u want: when the USF player goes double scott he laugh everytime how great this unit wipe constantly the enemy squads. The most player even say: its to good. and you want to kill this things with your tanks? have fun to hunt this fast gocart which needs 3 hits and has smoke and small hitbox... In: COH2 Balance

(if its not possible to flank/ smoke / etc) you dont blobb into it...you should attack from left, middle, right...so it cant supress all model at the same time and must switch...enough time to crouch/ run to it and throw a grenade. or stay in cover in shot it down...easy In: COH2 Balance
