Thread: reworking TD and giving them a role 11 Nov 2019, 12:33 PM its actually the best strategie to fight enemys TDS: get more TD than him or supriese him with your TDs and destroy them. since TDs have not that much armor ...and mostly not so fast (except jacksons) it works pretter good. jackson counter ALL armor due to its high mobiltys, turret, high dps and penetration, selfrepair (faster available after a fight) from lv, mdeiums, TDs and till biggest tanks in the game. Paks, schrecks and ele or jgtoiger will do nothing against pak howies and scotts when you know that they have more range and/ or is teamweapon. In case you don't know, allies do not have anything like jagdtiger or elephant, which are pretty much iprevious from the front to any tank or TD. And you need only some infantry AT units and an AT gun and can be sure no allied TD is allowed to snipe anything without risk to it.... you only need sight and can push into enemy line without having to risk anything with 60 range ATG with stun shots. it is funny that you mention to get a 245/270 fuel unit to counter nondoc units. lets guess you engage a ISU which can fight every target pretty well..which is supportet by a SU85 and a penal....no squad, no AT, no armor can be usefull in this case. you will need a ton of units and micro to handle this stuff. axis has only AT 70 range units ...not very usefully vs squads SU85 give 60 range view on targets...ISU snipe it out..penal is there you cant dive in without risk a satchel In: COH2 Balance
Thread: reworking TD and giving them a role 11 Nov 2019, 08:09 AM it is more easier to stay in far range and snipe enemy armor than to flank with panther enemys line and take out his armor. you need only some AI units and a penal and can be sure that no panther will dive in without your enemy risk a panther....you only need sight and can push into enemys line without to risk anythink with 60 range TDs with high penetration. It can be zoned by ATGs and infantry, but it can't be kited by any allied vehicle. And its not supposed to outrange, its supposed to outlast. In plain firefight, it beats all allied TDs without contest. Also, you seem to be under the impression that churchill is actually good against vehicles - its not, its worse then cromwell as despite it has durability and same gun, it doesn't have speed to flank or finish of anything. Its a damage sponge, not damage dealer. churchs own P4 and even make panthers life hard since the panther will need so much shots and churchs have ok chance to penetrate panther...and after that rolling above your infantry In: COH2 Balance

Every single infantry unit gets the exact same rec acc bonus while retreating. this is only my feeling...i have no prove..but it seems often they get wipe more than other retreating units ...i seen retreating more than thousands of time...but it seems often fallis dont coming home than other units in the same retreat way. It maybe the player focus his sqaus more on the fallies..but even then it looks they get more dmg than for example obers or even grens (i know the new .8 modifier) In: COH2 Balance

Yes 3 falls rolfstomp every squad when they flank a single squad or catch a retreating squad low health with 1-2 models. but never seen a replay or stream where you could see: WOW:..they are so OP. Have someone an example? They bleed like hell and wipe often when u operate behind enemys line....because it seems they dont get any bonus while on retreat like other units. In: COH2 Balance
