Is the snare thing maybe because the Faust is a direct fire weapon and all others are grenades at base? Like the ATRG was an aimed ability they made home in, same with the AT satchel. Know what I mean?

Dropping the free squads and instead making them something someone might actually want to buy (vs a rifle squad with a few different weapons) would be interesting and I think good for the usf game. It's almost like the design is "can't build just rifles if we force toy to take these squads haha!"

Ppshs increase close dps but reduce far dps creating a role change. STGs increase all dps making them more effective at range and even more effective upclose-there is not ever a single reason in the entire game under no scenario that upgrading to STGs is a bad move at all ever. You can still use them to sit behind green cover and shoot at cqb units or rush them in to eat long range units. That is my point. So yea, there would be no reason to restrict the mp40 upgrade imo as it HAS DRAWBACKS.
Building a lot of cons without the ppsh ability is a losing strat because while you are spamming rifle infantry the enemy is matching you AND has an upgrade that increases their DPS, in the case of okw WITH NOT A SINGLE DRAWBACK. You can't just build cons like you can volks and transition into the late game. You will NEED guards or penal to stand half a chance.

Ptac is already a 1 click wonder, if the enemy has snare infantry in range YOU failed to provide proper support and yes you desire to get snared. The pfaust on anything but volks should also apply to that.


Also-fausts can be used against buildings and shit, so maybe THAT'S the "counter weight" *if others do it should all of then*

Because in CoH2 commandos are a singular unit with absolutely worst scaling out of all squads - even engineers get higher bonuses.

Healing is the same as volks healing and is a vet bonus.

How does camo in this game work again? Something about cover right? And what happens as the game progresses? Lots of cover which means lots of chances to be camod and ambush. Their role is strengthened as the game progresses not weakened like shocks.
And is self heal suddenly not amazing just because volks get it?

Actually something that most people missed is that the SU 2man sniper isn't op in itself, but the fact that the 222 mg was ninja nerfed vs snipers a while back made the 2man op. If the mg wasn't purposely nerfed and performed normally or got a bonus vs snipers like all the other scout cars in the game, the 2man would be less of a problem. The bal team discovered the 222 mg wasn't working as intended for quite a while and now they've finally fixed it in the latest patch.

I've also said that the scaling for shocks is quite poor. In fact agrens, shocks and commandos don't scale either.

Commandos easily scale the best tho and of you bloody well wanted could become stealth tank smackers (you wouldn't want to but the option is there!) plus don't they heal out of cover? Big if true!
