Then rush in with puma and commando panther to mop up the armor. Because when talking about adjusting commanders obviously it's just copy and paste right? I think it is pretty useless because often as a wehrmacht faction, you have a medbase by your headquarters which is a cost effective option. It would be nice if they had the trip wire flare like what cons have. I think medkit would benefit soviets more ideally 6 man than 4 man. With Aura affect instead of one unit being affected by it. It would be a nice switch but Aura version (buffed medkit) for SU would surely solve their issues with medbase. Is this a good idea? There is no doubt that the Soviet would benifit from it, but I think it's a great option for Ost as well because of their small squads. I don't want AOE heals. I'd rather the game transition away from rewarding blobbing instead of punishing it. Takimg damage and losing models used to be punished. Retreating used to be punished. The game used to have a modicum of decisions the player had to make... In: COH2 Balance

And here you offer to leave conscripts unchanged. In the current state of conscripts, you need only one squad to throw an anti-tank grenade, I do not need more useless garbage under my feet. If you are only building 1 and only for the AT nade you are effectively paying 365mp and 25 fuel for a snare. Seems excessive In: COH2 Balance

If they're supposed to be fodder, let them be literal rifle toting fodder. Human wave, anybody? I once toyed with the idea of being rid of vet for cons entirely and tying improvement to side techs in each tier (would also create incentive side tech) to make them properly expendable and most importantly, replaceable. Their fully "upgraded" power level would obviously be below that of enemy squads but the ability to actually replace them and not have no means of making up for lost vet would be unique and create desire to actually use them In: COH2 Balance

Neither of which help if you have to replace them. And holding out hoping for an enemy to drop a weapon for your unit to be halfway alright isn't good. Cons design is still clung to them being cheap and effective in numbers but their pricing doesn't reflect that. The sidegrades would work if cons were cheap. You would pay less initially, make use of the map control and then when you have the resources upgrade for access to cheap improvements. That's the idea looking at their design Instead we have "pay as Much as the rest for less, then pay more!" They need to decide what they want from cons. Are they bodies for the front and nothing more? It supposed to scale, only die? Then price then as such. Make them replaceable. Are they supposed to mobile utility and nothing more? Then make that affordable and bolster the utility they bring Are they supposed to outlast everything? If so they need some intrinsic ability to resist enemy weapon upgrades that isn't vet. There are many directions to go but they need to bloody decide what that direction is In: COH2 Balance

Thread: OST Grens5 Apr 2019, 00:36 AM Med kit is situational by bit bad now that they made it cheaper. You can cast it on the squad or an MG to keep from retreating and help slightly reduce the vulnerability of 4 man squads as they don't have to operate at less than optimal health. In: COH2 Balance

If every faction has accessibility to Heavy Tanks by default like OKW has. Should they also have caches too? I don't recall anyone asking for default heavy tanks. They arnt saying when you tech up you unlock a heavy tank, they want your heavy tank to be locked until you tech up. You would still need to have it in your lmmander to unlock it though.
