Thread: Overwatch Flares11 Apr 2019, 19:13 PM Yea as a stand alone single ability slot it was fine, not so much as an Uber bundled ability slot Although I guess the only rational explanation is okw is the faction of super strong recon: arty flares, Kuble has map hax built in at vet 1, UHU, these... Hell even their recon plane does more than a normal recon plane does... In: COH2 Balance

However, I think these long range indirect fire units should be forbiden from shooting into the base sector Tbh I almost think the base sector should give a bit of a damage reduction effect. I mean it's your base so if you were chased into it odds are you are fucked anyways right? If you are fighting out of base you are in a sore spot but getting hit with arty in base just sucks... It's actually really strong, but hard to gage the impact it has when using it so people think it's weak. I recall playing against a guy who was bloody good with it. We were playing 2s and we were constantly under fire and not knowing where from. I had my sniper chased down by a luchs and my team mate couldn't respond because he couldn't see on the map what I was calling him towards. In: COH2 Balance

I guess it will take around 30-35min to get a vet 5 kubel on a rank around 0-500 but sadly if he manged it to get a vet5 kubel he will instantly lose it due to enormous AT on the field...which sadly have no problem to hit a fast driving kubel (lol--try to hit a kubel with AT / tank gun while it driving with the tech from 1943) Well. If it had shared vet it could use its vet 1 minimaphax to let you know where that AT is and avoid it or ambush it with infantry. It has all the tools to transition into a rapid response support unit when it's fighting window closes and capping becomes too risky. It just needs to unlock them In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ML20 and OKW faction design11 Apr 2019, 14:23 PM Build your own lefh and counterbarrage or take that 50 fuel they invested into the arty and use it to pressure them. Soviet are the worst faction in the entire game at holding ground. Take advantage of that. In: COH2 Balance

Thus it makes sense for explosives to be their weakness. They already have good AI. armour and to the last man relies too much on RNG and that's not what they need they need reliability. A damage reduction would give a straight reliable durability buff without loops and hoops and the possibility that they do nothing entirely. Armour adds another dice to them that can still say fuck you if it wants to. Damage reduction is guaranteed. In: COH2 Balance

If you get your squads flanked in grenade range by a 6 man assault grenadier squad they are already dead anyway, grenades or no grenades. The difference would be specialized 8nfantry and replacement core infantry. Fussies are also long range squad, being able to barrage closing infantry would be super strong. In: COH2 Balance
