Dangerous in a good player's hands that means you have to respect it, always on the lookout for a flank/dive but it'll never realistically frontally take on an Auf J. Which is also fine for the cost. But wouldn't any emplacement, mortar included, suffer the same as a bofors ? Against decent+ players yes, they'll rain down ISG fire and even mortar pits will get overwhelmed eventually. 2 mortar pits can deal with even 3 ISGs but that's a very pricey investment. If you want to play aggressive in the face of larger inf numbers then you'll definitely need brens and 5 man IS. In: UKF Strategies
Thread: countering OKW spam9 Mar 2021, 19:34 PM As UKF you should be able to take the initial ground area (usually a fuel) with your very strong early game where OKW can't do much unless they outnumber you heavily. MG + UC to force away volks and just be wary of an early rak. But by the sounds of it, it's just inf spammers that are an issue rather than high skilled OKW players. So early rak not likely. It is -very- important that you take the initial ground as your great early game becomes a weak midgame, so you need to dig in and fast. It is very hard for UKF to take territory from a dug in OKW, volks behind sandbags are a meme I use but in reality a major roadblock. Mortar pit and playing a bit defensive until cromwell/centaur should be your aim here. Bofors might help lock the area down but will be a prime target. In: UKF Strategies

It's a kubel, what's it going to do, run over your camo'd infantry? Detection units always have to be handled with caution by stealth units. Commandos/Falls and the like don't get a free pass on the field. I think I addressed this above. It's a serious loss to lose a tech building, no matter how someone counts the costs. They also can't walk through the toxic smoke without killing themselves and neither should the targeted player. I'm guessing someone tried to walk through it, took heavy hp ticks and a bundle was thrown on top? Boobytraps can be detected and cleared harmlessly with minesweepers. Is there supposed to be some other penalty? Lose your Schwerer before your first tank, you're dead in a match 9/10 times. You will never be allowed, vs decent+ opponents, to get the fuel for Schwerer again + tank. You're still in serious trouble even if you have your first tank out. In: COH2 Balance

All I know of is cheesy sync-error tactics that apparently some people use. If you have not started another game afterwards, the replay will still be in your system under 'temp'. 'Last played game' is still saved in your past replays automatically, in the game replays as a temporary file. The next game will overwrite the existing temp file. You can still view it in-game, but sounds like you'll want to keep the replay. To save it properly, you'll need to make a copy: Example file path (depends on your system and settings): C:\Users\[Username]\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\playback Copy & Paste the temp replay and make a copy with a different name.
