Thread: Jackson - jast light version of the Panther :)6 Aug 2019, 23:30 PM I agree. The jackson is a bit better in the anti tank department due to better moving accuracy, higher range and less cost, but the panther makes up for it with much better anti infantry (pintle mount mg42) and much better durability. The Jackson deserves a small cost increase to 150 or 155 fuel but other than that it's fine in my book. In: COH2 Balance

S-mines are already complete cancer in the hands of a wehr player that knows how to use them. They take years to remove with pioneers -epecially if the pios are under fire-, you often lose the pios if an explosive type of weapon shoots at them while clearing, and cheeky players love to put a teller mine in the middle of the s-mine field to screw over players that wanna clear them with tanks or to increase the chance for a pioneer oneshot. If the signs would be removed, they would turn from "cancer but somewhat balanced" to completely broken. A squad that walks into the field is dead if you dont retreat instantly after the first explosion. In: COH2 Balance

It has "Rifle" in its name yet everything the riflemen get is an overpriced flare and an overpriced poop sprint that makes them exhausted for 10 years, even if you retreat. Both the E8 and phosphorus strike are good but it just doesnt make up for all the useless abilities if you compare the doctrine with other usf docs. And who wants flamers on REs now where you get access to riflenades or 5men flamer assault engineers. In: COH2 Balance

Valiant assault is amazing, stuka assault is good if you know how the ability works exactly, you got a fast smoke drop recon plane which is always useful, and sometimes even the sturmpio fortifications are somewhat useful (fast flak emplacement is niche but can sometimes work, trench for raketenwerfer in lategame to prevent it from getting stolen etc) The only truly underwhelming ability is the fallschirmjagers but they are not completely horrible.
