Thread: Counters to double Churchill(basic) as Okw?20 Jun 2018, 06:34 AM The OP is talking about 2 churchills, no where is it mentioned that a FF is in the mix. If the opponent is able to get that much fuel then you should have proper counters for that considering how much fuel is needed just to get those units. Therefore by that time you should have panthers/jp4s/rakens which can deal with the churchills. Similarly mines or snares make the Churchills sitting ducks for AT. In: COH2 Balance

Little they know it was OH OP version of the mortar, with even better veterancy. What made things worst on that patch, is that some genius thought they were "fixing" all mortars veterancy, by applying the range increase on barrage, to the basic auto fire function. Everyone was basically having a 120mm range mortar by vet 2. Ehh dont remind me of Ost and USF turbo mortars hitting you from their base it was a sad sad time. In: COH2 Balance

With the mortar thing, i'm not sure how the single player who nobody tested, made it into the game. Yeah the USF mortar was around the time I started coming on COH2 org and following the game more closely. It was really annoying to me how the devs could just toss away valuable balancing in what would be considered the Public Beta Test of Coh2 especially when I came from other games which took those PBs for patches very seriously. Thread: worst patches in coh2 history11 Jun 2018, 06:11 AM IMO one of the worst patches was when the 81mm USF mortar was introduced. The community had tested a smaller 60mm mortar for USF for the entire balance preview and tested it nonstop until it was in a spot where it would be that garrison counter for USF. Last minute relic decides to put in the 81mm in which its horrendously broken and became a must build all the time since it wiped models like crazy. While its not the worst patch or version of the game by far, the fact relic decided to switch something that was tested and perfectly fine in the balance preview with something that ended up being horrible OP was extremely annoying and kind of insulting.
