Remove volks sandbags and change their weapon upgrade and you will never ever see the riflemen UP sentence again
I think UKF deserve to lose it to. Maybe even rifles too with the doctrinal ability. Mines and FPs are still nice enough to be one cmdr ability imo |
Guys! how about instead of losing time with a squad that is perfect fine we use our time to fix the damn P47s that cost 240 munis (on a faction that eats munis like candy) and are beyond useless?
p47s are very strong im not sure what you're talking about there. I dont think loiter style abilities should exist, but thats a seperate matter. p47s are definitely not useless, the muni point is fair but i always grab a muni cache when playing airborne. |

Could it be as simple as making them cp1 but locking weapon upgrades behind the same requirement to unlock major? Either both officers or the fully teching LT/Cpt?
I think the 380 pricepoint keeps them being able to be spammed early on |
I personally find mysterious why the SU85, a tank without a turret has a vision buff ability that locks the firing angle when there is no turret 
That's because it locks the vision angle, not firing? You cant see outside of that narrow area which gets bonus vision. It also slows the tank down....
It's a bonus with incredibly clear and balanced trade-offs, if you werent so biased youd probably be aware of that

If your opponent went with a sniper build, your mortar is useless. If he builds a mortar, your mortar gets countered. It is the same if you try to counter a pak Howie with the ostheer mortar to a lesser degree, of course.
All of this is just not true man. It CAN be true, but if you actually invest minimal effort in positioning they wont get countered that easily. The sniper is a high micro unit and costs 120mp more than the mortar. The german mortar is barely any better than the USF one
The USF mortar is a literal clone of the OST mortar but with faster pack up/tear down time in exchange for 5 range.
Their AOE distances are slightly different too with an edge to the Ost mortar, but I would say that is easily negated by the squad size differences of Ost vs US |
Why would you go pak howie vs mechanized OKW in the first place then?
MG34s? And How would you know they went mechanized? The tech is more expensive than full captain tech, and you'd still need to see one of the 3 vehicles to know unless you stumble upon the building itself. Not to mention, captain tech includes your counter to mechanized.

I do agree with you about wstukas destroying teamweapons, its something they do. Its annoying and the time frame to dodge is very small. But thats their job, they have to blast of static team weapons. I do not see other way to dislodge long range weapons at long range.
I'm not talking about team weapons just the pak howy. I have little issue dodging walking stuka with other team weapons, unless I guess wrong where the rockets are going. With pak howy it doesnt matter what you guess, chances are its dead |
or a wstuka rocket (another natural counter), other than those pak howies can endure as much as they dish out damage, in the back lines.
It's not just a natural counter its literally undodgeable for the pak howy. I've lost a ton of pak howies despite moving the very instant I heard the rockets.
