Thread: Other squads extra men?1 Aug 2022, 15:21 PM I'm still mad over the decision to NOT make Osstruppen as a Conscript clone with a merge mechanic given the fact that Wehrmacht hardpressed a lot of foreign people and made them into cheap line troops. There is even a story of Americans liberating a POW camp (more literally, allowing the Nazis to give them the guys) and finding an inmate that fought in the Red Army, getting then sent to a Penal Battalion, losing the charge and getting arrested by the Nazis, then getting pressed in Luftwaffe as a mechanic, getting arrested again and getting sent to a german type penal battalion only to get pressed again and fight with the Waffen-SS. I think the story is on the Cornelius Ryan trilogy. Crazy stuff. Anyway, such a change would open the OST game to more than the standard 2 mg 2 grens 1 mort -> 222. In: Scrap Yard

That 45th constructed position with RE in them, will launch some random nade that will kill a full HP squad and you'll have a "Worth it" moment. Haha true that's exactly what happened one time with me when I used smoke plus defensive position's free nades to dismount an MG42 garrison back in 2020 and since then I have a soft spot for them.
