Because before the shell would explode if it would hit twigs,and its aoe was much worse. especially vs vehicles.
now it vaporizes everything that grazes the AOE and can shoot through any shotblocker,with +5 range on top of that so you can shoot from where most units cant react if you have spotters
I didn't realize the shot blockers was a new thing. And I do remember the shell never quite hitting its target beforehand.
Wouldn't this just bring back call in meta, particularly with Lend Lease?
Anyway, I think one thing that people overlook with relic is that they have done a good job designing the game so that most matches take around 30 minutes. When you start messing with incomes it is going to lengthen the game considerably.
Killing T4 shouldn't be a problem. If it is well placed behind shot blockers then you will just have to play around it until you can blast it with offmaps or artillery.
If it is in the open just attack ground with any long range TD. One of two things will happen. It will either kill his HQ, or he will send a big attack to stop the gun. If the latter happens just be prepared with maxims, and maybe you can get some good damage on his army while destroying the HQ.
