Overall UKF is garbage after patch, feels almost like they didn't just soft-remove the Bofors but the entire faction. They are just not good enough anymore. As you said playing against Ostheer now is insanely hard. You can't counter MGs, you can't counter PGrens and none of your tanks is better than the Ost variants. No matter if it's Centaur and Ostwind, Cromwell and P4, Comet and Panther or the Churchill variants and Tiger. On top of that UKF still has no non-doctrinal mortar, no flame thrower, no rocket arty and the highest costs for upgrading their infantry due to the 35 fuel you have to invest for bolster. And playing vs OKW isn't much better either because you can't deal with the Falls and Obers whatsoever. I'm a little surprised to see you say this. My two teammates who normally play Brits have said almost the exact same thing about UKF. The only additional thing they would add is that Brits have no counter to the double LEIG plus IR halftrack, short of a Sexton but game is likely out of hand by then. Sections don't last very long, even in cover, before they have to retreat or be wiped by the LEIG. In: COH2 Balance

Anyway, ml-20 at vet 1, has something like double reload cause of bugged cooldown, it drops at 1% and it stops. Need a lot of time to take out that 1% cooldown. I've had this happen on a ML20 a couple of times. I haven't noticed it on the LEFH, but haven't used LEFH much since the patch. In a match yesterday, two users of the M4 76 said that trying to use HVAP caused their turret to lock or not fire. I think it was karma for buying those when playing Red Ball. In: COH2 Balance

I thought the problem was just the timing resulting in a power spike? No, the bigger problem is that the officer tier costs 200/35, but gives you an additional squad, so in some ways getting the tech gives you an extra 80 manpower. In: COH2 Balance

I never question the quality of someone's playercard. My rankings aren't good. But the information in the player card does tell a lot. If it's 90% one side or the other then it tells you something. I could see starting a thread like this one if I was playing a lot of OST and struggling with USF in ranked games, but starting one like this with no ranked games seems strange. Are you Mr. Playercard police while not having a playercard yourself? It has nothing to do with your playercard itself. It has everything to do with your playercard not showing any ranked games. Had you been playing any ranked games, you would have a ranking instead of a "P". If you haven't been playing any ranked games, then why are you starting balance threads? What are you basing it on? So you're not going to even bother denying that you've been calling for USF nerfs on a patch you haven't played competitively. And sorry but I dont agree with these nerfs at all, you can ask the top tier 1v1 players and most of them say that the powerspike of free LT and especially the fast M20 is the biggest threat in 1v1 atm.... and not the riflemen. As others previously mentioned there would be a lot options to nerf M20 without hammering it too hard. - increase the build time a lot or - increase manpower cost or - add a munition cost to the unit as well (crew has a zook) etc etc The OP has no ranked games as any faction since before the patch, so one could legitimately question if he has had any problems as OKW either. I do wish they would take out the powerspike for LT and CPT but either turning the tech into an unlock (without the LT but adjust fuel and MP to something like 50/20) or simply adjusting the cost to something like 300/25. I'd much prefer the unlock as I could have more build diversity. The M20 could simply have it's timing changed. It's already a lot of resources for something that gets countered by almost any other light vehicle. Also, if they took the zook away from the crew and compensated by lowering the cost of the armor skirts, it would force players to use it more cautiously as they would have at most 1 zook from the LT around it in case of a 222.
