honestly, i'm not sure. pretty sure the replacement doesn't get resource cheats but i'm not sure if it has the map hack (probably, i'm not sure the ai can play without it).
the AI is fucking amazing at capping. they won't help much in a fight but if the rest of the team is ok at fighting they can actually turn a game around because they'll ninja cap everything.
I would oppose this notion. Many times 1 guy is loosing heavily but the other 3 are doing great. So him dropping and the AI picking up can be really bad for your team.
Have a look at how the others are doing first, in 4v4 one guy getting huge losses does not necessarily mean the end of the game. If 3 guys don't want to surrender it might mean they see from their perspective they have a fighting chance.
sometimes that chance they see is through us having 1/3 the map and the enemy having 6 meds and a heavy tank while we have a couple of AT guns and some infantry. those people are idiots and/or assholes.
Does the invisibility require a sort of hull-down ability with a cooldown that either immobilizes the tank or reduces its speed and rotation like the forward scope sight on tanks like SU85s and Elefants?
Because if its just a passive invisibility for not moving, then maybe it needs a drawback of some sort. The cloaking may not be a problem in and of itself, but the way it cloaks and what sort of restrictions/tradeoffs it has does matter a rather big deal.
it just flatout cloaks unless it's firing. makes it a lot more survivable although it moves about half the normal speed and can be decloaked if a unit is close enough and does something special. (i don't really understand the reveal mechanics in this game, i've had my jpIV cloaked with the IS-2 right on its ass and uncloacked with the IS-2 ~~5m away. i think 5m is the distance that units are supposed to be viewable at though.)
Try building 4 Grens into T2 and a 251. Then convert fuel to ammo for 4x LMG42. Works quite well.
or in team games just get ~~6 grens with lmgs. it won't be very impressive for the first 5 minutes or so but suddenly the long range damage is so much that everything without that kind of ranged dps dies like flies.
I don't have stats on me atm, so was doing stuff out of my head as well. I'm not much off here.
If I'm not mistake, relic said somewhere in the past that 1 muni is worth around 2 menpower, so add the upgrade costs to unit value and you'll have more accurate representation of cost effectiveness and why falls not only lose, but SHOULD do so at range against guards and m1919 paras.
it's
1:2.5(or 3, idr):5
mp:mun:fuel
i think it was in one of the patchnotes so someone who really cared could look there.
at this point the game is basically company of spam (if you bought the right edition it even comes in a tin). the cause is a combination of a limited number of units and poor balance (internal and external) of those units. it's actually worse then it seems for all factions except OKH (and them as well to a certain extent) because the other factions (sort of OKW) don't get more than 1/2 or 2/3 of their total units in a given game.
If it's possible could [sarcasm][/sarcasm] be added and use some kind of drippy font? so the words are dripping sarcasm and it's slightly easier to tell when people are being sarcastic?
something like this would be perfect. (i just googled "free dripping font".)
I have no idea how much work would be involved, or if VB allows that, so i'll keep my hopes low.
