There was like a month for testing and feedback. There were quite some people complaining about it here months before. I don´t like it either. The concept of bulletins is senseless again. They used to be unstackable (as there were no duplicates) when Coh2 was just released. Then they allowed stacking. Now they reverted this. Another part of me is happy that stacking isn´t allowed as everybody would try to use the 3x riflemen vet on their blobs asap. So I have no real opinion on this. I enjoy the skins + commanders. I´m not going to invest in a single bulletin. And that is kind of sad as bulletin collecting was a part of the game (which now gets replaced by commander and skin collecting). In: COH2 Balance

That design is about a strong lategame which they don´t have any longer. Thus the design is flawed. I´m not proposing a whole redesign of the faction: Some minor Panzergrenadier, Panther and Tiger buffs would suffice. Some small adjustments to Ostheer lategame are easier to do than adjusting all other factions accordingly. In: COH2 Balance

And then the Panther will only win by a small margin. With unfortunate rng I have seen a Comet win versus a Panther frontally once in a while. In any other situation the Comet will win because of the terrible rate of fire the Panther has. Also the Comet has better general utility versus infantry. if I had to choose one of those tanks I would take the Comet every time. Similar applies to the T-34/85. It is way cheaper and can win when Panther and T-34/85 are both facing their sides/rear at each other. That is simply pathetic for the Panther. It can´t really fight tanks cost efficiently and sucks versus infantry. In: COH2 Gameplay

Because there is a high possibility OKW is involved in the higher modes. Most people play OKW. I almost never meet Ostheer players in 2vs2. Double Ostheer in 2vs2 is suicide. On one side I´m happy I can trade all those useless bulletins and quadruplicates into something useful and finally get some doctrines and skins I´ve always wanted. On the other side bulletins in general are pointless now. Well, I´ll gladly throw them all into the trashcan for new skins and doctrines. Also: How do you know who farmed the bulletins and who actually achieved them by gaming? In: Lobby

Every faction may feel weak if you try to play it too much differently from its design. Remember, that if you want to switch to different playstyle for a while you often need to change a faction as well. That is exactly why we have 5 different factions instead of reskinned copy-pastes. That is okay. That Ostheer doesn´t get a reward for not having the initiative for the whole early and mid game is what´s wrong. They were designed to hold out until the lategame to come back. The Ostheer T4 and especially the Panther are worse than going T3 and staying there. A lot of Panzer IVs and StuGs do the job way better and way earlier than Panthers etc. There is no incentive to go T4. This is not going to be fixed by cheaper T4 because the Panther still remains bad with lack of AI and a bad rate of fire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF8Vts6YakI#t=5m40s I pretty much think he hits it spot on here. It gets outshined by the Comet which has similar armor, better rate of fire, better AI and is easier accessible. Guess why Ostheer struggles versus Brits so much. One reason is the weak Panther. Reinforcing from an upgraded halftrack has been removed previously. How often do you get a vet 2 or 3 not upgraded halftrack so you can profit from that part of the vet bonus? In: COH2 Balance
