Only a completly bias moron would claim the Brummbar didn't need a nerf. The Brummbär is supposed to counter infantry and weapon crews. By the time it arrives even an opponent that has been outplayed should have access to Cromwells, T-34s, Shermans at the very least. The unit arrives when there are mutliple options to counter it. If you can't stand the Brummbär standing up to unsupported AT guns I assume you are for an ISU-152 and Croc nerf aswell. Nerfing the range and survivability is just another nail in the coffin that is Ost lategame. But every crutch unit that somewhat kept Ost in the game is nerfed. In: COH2 Balance

I said it before and I'm going to say this again: The community devs are quite biased into the Allied favour. The game went downhill when they started with their stuff. Now you have overnerfed Elefants, a StuG that is mediocre at best, all while being stuck with 4 men squads. Ost was about good tanks and small squads. Now it's about mediocre tanks and small squads. I'll let you figure out yourself why this game doesn't feel satisfying any more when playing Ost. In: COH2 Balance

The main problem is the 6 men weapon crews/squads survivability of the Soviets compared to 4 men Ost weapon crews/squads. This means that in the lategame it is extraordinarily hard to wipe Soviets. Sure, you can push off a 6 men squad... but if there is three 6 men squads and multiple 6 men weapon crews, holding the line as a Soviet is incredibly easy. This used to be balanced when Germans had better tanks. But as also seen in this video the Elefant for example has way less utility than the ISU-152. And since the damage nerf to the Elefants main gun the vehicle is so niche and does its job so badly (it can't fight mediums cost efficiently any longer), that there is basically no cost efficient counter to Soviets later on. In short: You can barely push Soviet players of the field, while they have a huge arsenal to insta wipe Ostheer squads and weapon teams, coupled with better TDs and access to huge numbers of mediums. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In: COH2 Balance

Germans lack their originally intended tank advantage and have to face superior BARS, Brens and Penals so there is no reason they shouldn't get capable infantry. Mind you that this also forces the Wehr player into a doctrine and denies the MG42 upgrade for Grens. The PG utility isn't that much of a deal for a 340 mp unit that lacks the firepower to fight aforementioned allied infantry at range. In: COH2 Balance
