Just change defensive stance so it can't be popped in combat. Is retarded. Should be an ability that is only used in anticipation for an assault. Not Run up drop down and suppress and shred.

Fix blitzkreig so it can't be used defensively and I would agree.

the USF have grenade, bar, and bazooka upgrade, and last patch the USF player rarely need any of them. This was precisely the problem.

Granted, part of the reason is the bazooka and bar are over priced, but USF can usually ignore the upgrades and just cruise straight to Sherman.

The USF should really be forced to buy some type of upgrade to keep up with the wehr. Especially since the wehr are pretty dependent on their hmg42 and lmg42.

The wehr delay the sherman by forcing the USF to buy the bars or grenade. This allow the wehr to buy the stug/pziv around the same time as the jackson/sherman, not after.

Ummm what USF have always needed bars to compete with axis infantry, maybe not early game but later on mid to late your riles are mostly useless with out bars. Zooks was kind of a luxary item but necessary for axis light vehicle spam, but nades I almost always bought you need them to take out infantry garrisoned in buildings and support weapons and now more than ever.

This has been the same for a long time now rifles don't beat grens heads up anyway I dunno who is the one with that idea to begin with cause they just don't and are majorly out classed even with bars compared to grens with 42s. Gren blobs with 42s beat para troopers. Also they frequently wipe retreating 1 or 2 models and riflemen almost never wipe a 1 model gren retreat which is kinda BS.

Right now USF is being put into a huge man power hurt, and extreme reliance on munitions and we are not getting enough to be able to deal with multiple threats at all. Also our tech cost for these things and being forced to make m20 or flak trucks almost every game is imo delaying the sherman for way too long.

Also why the F can strums dps down a emplacement that is broken as hell and makes no sense assualt engineers can't do that to bunkers. USF needs a mortar bad and not a shit one an incredibly accurate one like OST has.

No they don't. Green cover reduces incoming damage so unless you rifle squad is already almost dead it will take 40% reduced damage and not be wiped.

Also if you miss the most obvious grenade tell in the game along with it's travel time then welp I don't really know what to say. The abusive thing about defensive stance is that it has no draw backs because you can reposition almost instantly.

It's travel time is like half a second. You have to be watching the guy crouch from the very start to effectively avoid it and in the heat of battle you cannot always be doing this not to mention sometimes when the models are just firing like normal there will be a guy crouched and firing. As well as world objects and other things effecting your ability to see the model. And you cannot always have a healthy squad I mean it takes time to get an ambulance and you don't just retreat because you lost 1 model. If I wanted to I could make you a compilation video of how many times I have had riflemen wiped in green cover. In open terrain its much easier avoided but in cover world objects make riflemen bumble around and they just cannot move fast enough most of the time.

Well some things are kind of just LOL. Like Alex's topic of having 60 range on the panther when everyone knows there is no argument there when everything else the panther has is more than great, but just because the jackson which lacks in the other 4 categorys has 1 advantage over the panther vs 4 it should be changed.

Now what advantage does the USF infantry have over axis? Bar rifles get beat by mg42 grens hands down still. Imo vanilla rifles still lose easily do grens via losing too many models on approach to effective range alway. We have a regular nade but no squad wiping rifle nades or no stun grenades that cause wipes because we cannot retreat. We have to equip things at our base instead of being able to simply react to situations (a light vehicle, a bunker) and pull shreks out of our pockets. The number of axis infantry that also get tank snares compared to allies. The one shining star we do have is the 1919 but because once again we have 1 good thing compared to the enemies 4 or 5 it should be nerfed. I think the 1919 is legit more than ever with the HMG buffs.

Your still not going to see the 50 cal that much it comes in way too late and if you do at most you will see one. Like it and at gun we have no counter barrage to protect them from mortars or stuka or at least one that comes early enough or is viable enough and they just become wasted tech or manpower.


USF need a mortar team BAD. The pak is ok but comes too late and is not good enough for barraging bunkers and machine guns or counter barrage. We do have smoke yes but it is much harder to accomplish that now. Infantry company mortar is 40 fuel and takes 2cp which again is too late. Every faction IMO including okw needs a mortar team.

We are easily predictable we depend on having to make the m20 or other light vehicles that already seem to have their counters on the field and they also delay teching quite a bit.

like left start on rails and metal the south fuel is the closest but you can never beat axis there and smart axis always know to rush that point no matter what side they are on. I've tried getting positions up but then mortar comes and usf has no awnser but maybe the m20 but rifles can't get past mgs to help it our so your just screwed. if you go to north fuel it is too far away from left start to get a hold on as USF forward reinforcement point does not come until major and it takes axis very little to lock down points now leaving volks/grens free to contest you anywhere they want with early forward reinforcement points (truck/halftrack).
