I don't remember this being an issue before WFA. What could have changed?
Now, you can basically play king of the hill on a number of maps. On say Minsk it's really difficult because you need to take some long routes around just so your tank will hit the target instead of the ground, making it very difficult to stop a flank that comes down from one of the side hills.

It's probably the dumbest base design in a Relic game ever. Oh, and just to add to the clusterfrakking, did you know that if you drop an AT gun in your base, you won't be able to get it out? It really is an unfair base design, because rifles have nowhere to go if a vehicle raids the base.. All other factions you can play ring around the rosie until you get AT in position. What nice touches. Honestly this is one of the reasons I don't like playing US much, the little annoyances of this faction really infuriate me. In: COH2 Gameplay |

1) I agree the whole instant vet thing breaks the game; veterancy is a fundamental system and you're overriding it. If you must have it, make them more expensive, 300-320 mp... 2) I disagree that Maxims should have fewer crew members. I think the problem is really spam in 2v2 and up, where Maxims are disproportionately effective compared to a conscript squad, both costing 240. My solution: 260-270 MP. They really are not that durable, it's just that on certain maps 2-3 Maxims covering each other is essentially overpowered. I don't think a cost increase to 260 would affect the 1v1 meta that bad. 3) The uber LMGs, the airborne and obersoldaten mgs, might need to be toned down a tad at ultra long range. I think gren LMGs are fine, it's still possible to close on those with conscripts or rifles if pathed through cover. In: COH2 Balance |

I don't mind the tanks being fragile - if they fix smoke so Shermans can use it on the move, and if they adjust some things on the other side. I really just don't like seeing vet 5 pupchens doing the insane damage they're doing. I like to see units scale with vet, but c'mon, this is all out of proportion to the unit's original cost. They need to adjust the vet bonuses or the scaling...Because they vet insanely fast too. You just need to keep one alive and you're pretty golden late game. In: COH2 Balance |

Yeah, it's the exact same issue as in vCOH re: Allies - the less skilled players aren't confident enough in their micro to keep up the pressure, I see a lot of Maxim camping (which can work well on certain maps and give u time to get tanks out) but very poor use of conscripts, rifles, vehicles generally. But everyone and their kid brother knows how to charge with a sturmpio - this is one of the things I talk about when I talk about micro fairness. The most hilarious thing is you'd think everyone playing would know about the US flaks, but they pub crowd certainly doesn't seem to...Or using forward ambulances, all the other basic stuff you'd think people be using by now. I'll probably be playing all random team games today too, just because I need a break from tryharding above my CPM in 1v1 . In: COH2 Gameplay |

I really don't know, I think a stream...maybe someeone else can find it. But it clearly makes no sense, they ADDED an animation to make it more difficult to get vehicles out of danger, but you have the ability to spam right clicks behind it to move it the normal way. And they have been trying to make the game more e-sporty with the increased DPS system (requiring higher CPM and faster reaction times), so it wouldn't surprise me.. In: COH2 Bugs |
