Thread: Why does capturing territory do absolutely nothing?1 Aug 2017, 07:35 AM Guys, he probably is just salty because he lost a match to a comeback. No reason to argue about that. If you play solid and your enemy has zero territory, you will win, if not, you threw it because you started doing dumb crap when you thought that the game could not be lost anymore. Thread: CoH 3 - Doctrines vs Commanders - VOTE NOW!!!31 Jul 2017, 10:45 AM Voted in Favor of Tales of Valor. I absolutely missed the ability to choose how I want to play in CoH2. There were more commanders, sure, but the ability to decide my playstyle even after I chose a doctrine was a lot of fun. I don't care if some abilities are overlapping honestly. Having a Tiger in three commanders in CoH2 was nothing I felt bad about. If you'd have a ToV design with about 15 abilities you can progress, there surely would be the need for overlapping stuff. And then while you are losing more and more VP and fight against 5 Shermans with only 1 Command Panther and a StuG, you manage to get the upperhand and forcing the enemies to surrender. If you refer to the ability in the Command Panther Commander, it costs 60 mun and lasts for about 15 seconds guessed. OKW is already a mun starved faction so EITHER your enemies get a lot of vision which costs 60 mun for about 15 - 20 seconds OR they get other upgrades such as InfraSTGs for their Obers or StG44 for their Volks or a Shreck on their Sturms. I had a game yesterday as OKW where I had to scrap up all my mun in order to have vision every 5-10 minutes because I was simply starving while still holding one mun point the whole game. The whole thread simply looks like some CPanther OKW player has bashed you yesterday (could have been me ) and you're just salty. There are Doctrines/Commanders that are way more OP if you have a lot of mun. And the artillery flare is IMO not the worst. Summary: Play other factions as well in order to notice what is OP and how to counter it. Your player card shows that you have never played a single game as Axis. In: COH2 Balance

Not like every second game and not like every 10th game but Vet4 or Vet5 Raketens are not that hard to reach if you are really carefully in my opinion. I honestly think that Volks got a pretty good compensation with their Fausts. I get your point. Of course I am not sneaking around every game but I think the Raketenwerfer is not THAT bad honestly. First it is hard at Vet0 but once it gained up some veterancy it is a killer. Even more since Volks got Panzerfausts. Before you had a T70 simply circle around all your troops and there was absolutely nothing you could do. It is true that OKW lacks viable AT somehow but not in the early game. If you really struggle against light armor you can get a Puma that can also take care of medium armor somehow. Sturm Panzerschreck is also pretty good as you also Vet up very fast which means faster repairs. Most of the time after I got my Flak HT up I go straight to JP IV. And you can't deny that it is probably the best Tank Hunter in the game. In: COH2 Balance

That's like the absolute best feature of the RW. You can cloak up, wait for a tank to eat the first shot and then you get a free engine damage with your nearby Volks. Also Finishing tanks that are being repaired is pretty awesome. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Coh 2 after March patch = penals blob / lend lease25 Jul 2017, 07:15 AM I don't get the point here why everyone plays the Luchs vs the Dshka play. Med HQ IMO has by far the better solutions against this. Sure, the Luchs is strong, but I think the best counter to heavy MG play is indirect fire and imo the Stuka is not reliable enough to as its cooldown is too long and it can be dodged without a lot of micro or drawbacks. Get a MG34 and a Flak HT. Give your Pios a Panzerschreck for Light Tanks and also get a Raketenwerfer. LeIGs meanwhile take care of the Dshkas. The Penals won't reach your Flak because of the MG and the Flak itself. That's how I take care of this strat but honestly I usually never play Luchs so this might also be a reason. In: COH2 Balance
