Thread: lets talk about medium tanks vs schrecks (AGAIN) 13 Oct 2015, 11:08 AM People still blob volks with Schreck? I thought those days are gone or players that do that are so deep in elo hell that I never going to face them. Just like since WFA my opinion on that is that schrecks need to be moved to specialist AT squad and volks need to have AI upgrades. In: COH2 Balance

The JP4 is the perfect counter - good dps and long range. It just seems that RNG god was not smiling upon you. In addition cloaked raketenwerfer can help but likewise get easily decrewed by the KV8 if the JP4 is not nearby. Thread: 2 OKW vs 2 SOV and maxim spam12 Oct 2015, 00:42 AM I'd say it's easy to counter maxim spam with 3 volks that you spread out nicely. There's always a hole in the maxim defense you can use to throw a flame grenade and usually wipe a maxim. You are usually forced to retreat very often due suppression. So it's very help full to rather set up your medic truck in a semi aggressive position and research the retreat point early in the game. To fight of the t70 & kv8 usually a jagdpanzer is enough, definitely go for that. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: [OKW][2vs2+] counter sniper without le.IG 1812 Oct 2015, 00:32 AM OKW has no direct counter as you can not counter snipe as okw. The safest way to kill a sniper is to spawn falls or Jägers in the right moment out of a building. But that's depending on the map not always possible and might not work out if Rng doesn't favour you. Sometimes a Luchs rush works, which you can get out at minute 9 and even chase the sniper into the base. Don't forget to sweep possible attack routes which a mine sweeper before. Another way is to counter by strategy. A sniper is build to bleed out the enemy and decrew team weapons. So go for a build that won't bleed you out if it's getting sniped like 3-4 volks or panzerfusiliers. When you push, always push with several squads, this usually forces retreats of the snipers since he can't kite a cheap infantry blob and it won't bleed you out . Don't send lone squads around the map, they will just get picked of. And don't lead attacks with expensive infantry, let volks take the hit. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Strategies for 2s (All Factions) What to use? 12 Oct 2015, 00:13 AM First of all there's no ideal strategy, depending on opponents and maps you have to be able to do all kind of builds. Secondly I'm not a fan of builder unit spam in 2vs2 because it's simply not necessary. In 2vs2s you have to cap less points than in 1vs1, thus you can easily cap your side with mainline infantry or team weapons . Also you are easier pushed back by your opponents, because builder units fight bad. Denying resources is one part of winning. Fortifying and controlling the map & vetting up the right units is just as important. Something that is usually neglected with builder unit spam. Also it's not enough that only your mate gets rifles. He can be easily doubled and when you have nothing to help with in the this situation you usually lose the complete map and also then the game. If you want definite strategies you gotta tell about the map and the setup. In: Strategy Desk
