Just remove it. Or at least remove ALL-teams chat.

There simply should be a report button available.

I have encountered some players who were pretty toxic and insulting.

Report button (although its unfortunately not available in Coh2, have to report in forums instead) should shut them up like most games do which is a pretty good system.

Like "Heroes and Generals" report player for a particular purpose and someone will check to see what kind of activity they have commited.

A report button that is accessible should be available.

This is a game, in a game people splash out their aggression so as not to be aggressive in life. For this video games exist. And for such gentle people just need the ability to turn off chat display.

Strategy game where teams fight each other. Remove method of communication. Yeah good idea!

Nah, just give us a mute and vote kick button.

I'd even add in a dedicated voice communication system like in World in Conflict as well to be honest. If you have a headset, why not use it? Voice communication will always be better and faster than text based chat.

Just add mute enemy team and mute player. You can still communicate with whomever you want while filtering out the toxic ones.

People play to have fun and have some break from reality, not to meet some a-holes.

Just make it an option like in HOTS, if players don't want chat then ye let em have an option to disable it.

In Rise of nations you could politcally block any player if I recall correctly. The politcal correct way of doing it lol.

I mean have you played COD MW2? All the 13 years old will tell you how much they love your mom. The toxicity is not exclusive to COH2 (looking at you league of legends).

Report and mute button would be nice. No idea why Relic did not give it to us from the get go.
But I think we'll never get it, as there is no report system in place that would direct the reports from the game to the officials and CoH2 is too old now.

Best course of action currently is do not reply in any form to toxic chat. Its much less ammusing and soon gets boring for trolls when they are talking to themselves ;)
