They get 3 g43 like the always have, but in the earlier patches they could upgrade with a shrek, which they cannot anymore.
Also they lose tactical assault when upgrading g43.

So
4 g43s and tactical assault please.

4 g43s I think would be good and make the upgrade more attractive, but I don't think that tactical advance should come with it. It gives a 100% accuracy boost, which would be a bit too powerful on a weapon that is decent at long range, this ability is supposted to be used to wipe squads on retreat by getting in the retreat path with short range weapons, not for combat from heavy cover.

4 G43s indeed sounds better, but they have a very high moving accuracy, so tactical advance on top would be overkill.

3x G43s is already very strong for a unit that can hide behind enemy lines and chase down wounded (retreating) squads. Don't forget that G43s keep ~90-99% DPS while moving. 4 of them would make them too powerful without also adjusting the stats (but then what would be the point of G43s).

Tactical assault/advance has also restricted to automatic weapons if im not mistaken. I think its only been on squads with mp40s, thompsons, stgs, etc.

Not saying its not possible, but I think it only on those types of weapons because they are cqc. Would be too strong on g43s which are completely different

Thompson is hardly CQC weapon. It is effective even at range 20.

The ability was also available to ST44...

(I would rather see this ability redesigned for all unit.)

Yes. With g43s it'd be a no-brainer to just use when you're in cover all the time because your additional DPS gained is a lot more than the extra damage your squad will take. It's a lot riskier to use with smgs since you have to be so close for it to be effective, which also makes it less potentially powerful than on an all ranges weapon like the g43.

I literally listed STGs in the post you quoted. You quote me JUST to correct my word choice and you didnt even read all the words

Stgs, thompsons, mp40s are "MUCH MORE CQC oriented" than g43s. Higher dps at close range, lower dps at max and thats the problem. Stormtrooper g43s have good long range dps, so you could use it at long range without worrying about the RA penalty

Very much agreed. If g43s need a new ability they should make a new one. Doesnt make much sense for an ability made for full-autos to be applied to a semi-auto

No such thing as tactical assault on non-automatics. Maybe give the G43 an ambush bonus or give even MORE sight than before or give 4th G43.

I heard somewhere G43's moving acc is 75% not 90+. 75 is already very good but there's no way it would be 90+

Depends on range:

Range 0
11.6/13.2 = 87%

Range 35
3.1/3.2 = 97%

One has to keep in mind thou that K-98 is alloy worse on the move while it contributes allot more at rang 35.

G43 upgrade option should be available to Stormtroopers and Panzergrenadiers by default. Only limited to them as an option since they are elite. At least an alternative!

G43 moving accuracy is 80%, so basically yes. However, what you're missing is that they also have a 50% moving cooldown multiplier, the end result being (like sander and vipper said) that their moving DPS is from around 87-97% of their stationary DPS.

How about:

- Give pgrens 4 G43's from 3.
- Lower the moving dps of pgren G43's to something like 75-85 instead of 87-97.

That way my pgrens atleast have a more clear role distinction if I decide to degrade them for 25 munitions. :snfCHVGame:
