In my opinion the artillery officer is still better than the 250 with MG in German-Infantry-Commander.


Also the hole 250 is in a confusing spot. I don't see the use of MG for it. Why not let it the normal transporter with passive Vet and maybe a repair ability like UC.

If you really want the suppression platform, why not give them the 251 with MG and remove the MG of standard 251. The normal 251 don't really need the MGs.

I agree that it's in a weird spot, I don't really see a point in a bigger Kubel that can't cap and a Halftrack that can't reinforce.

So... after the Sdkfz FlaK nerf also OKW has some suppression troubles. Why not give MG34 to Ostheer instead of MG42 and make the MG for Sdkfz 251 be a upgrade like the flamer.

That would solve the MG op-ness of Ostheer in early. Also would buff the Sdkfz 251 to an useful level.

@Katitof Got hard-nerfed last patch... is it really necessary to explain everything for you? Maybe you should start playing the game instead of writing lies.

"SdKfz 251/17 Flak Halftrack
The 251 flak is having its suppression reduced to prevent it from immediately pinning squads; smoke cost has been increased to make quick escapes more costly
• Suppression reduced from 0.3 to 0.15
• Concealment smoke increased from to 25/15 to 35/25 at veterancy 0/1"

Other than that, flak ht has been delayed of 5 fuel points with teching changes in the same patch.

Flak ht suppression would go from 1 burst outside of cover to 2 to green covered squads.

Also stop being an utter ass that never got enough mom's love to begin with, regardless, but especially if what you said is objectively wrong.

I don't know what you are trying to say. Give feedbacks or ideas, don't be a troublemaker.


It seems you have troblems with constructive feedback. Even for bugs etc. there is an extra thread, so.

1) It is to what i quoted, flak ht was nerfed in the last patch. No problem in getting something wrong, i'm just saying it to avoid misinformation
2) It doesn't, at least not if each model is in actual green cover. Test it by youself. The cover they are behind soaks a lot of shots, as like every other projectile based weapon. Different is something like tank traps or a cover with barely any space for the whole team, but when a proper solid cover applies, mg's can suppress even faster than what flak does.
Sometimes even 2 bursts wouldn't do anything but paint the target test cover.

Faymont ville stone walls are perfect for the test

Sorta sad to see that the Soviet Commissar loses his Forward Retreat point ability; I understand he was pretty broken being able to heal and act as a Forward Retreat point, but couldn't the same be made to the Ostheer's Artillery Field Officer? Both Soviet and Ostheer don't have any type of Forward Retreat point system unlike the USF, UKF and OKW so again, I'm just sad to see it go in this patch update.

Other improvements however are welcome and thank god you fixed the 221/223 recrewing crash, it literally interrupted a full game with some friends when we playtested 1.5.

Can the price of the forward observation post price be adjusted? Currently it's 60 fuel compared to the 10 fuel upgrade at the forward assembly. (only read the 1.6 changelog so not sure if it has been changed already).

Btw, grats to the balance team, seems like lots of great improvements in 1.6! :D

why do concrete bunkers cost popcap, when every other repair bay does not? i think either make the other repair bays cost popcap as well or make only the mg upgrade cost popcap.
