So after watching so many luchs and 222s managing to escape with literally no health left, I decided to take a look on cheatmode. And I confirmed that AT rifles don't kill vehicles when they hit 0 hp.

Basically that means that a Luchs that has 400 hp needs to take 11 shots of PTRS to die because 10 leave them at 0 and that don't trigger the death

This applies to all AT weapons at the moment due to a flag being set to false rather than true, so all Zooks, PIATs, AT Rifles and Schrecks do not kill if the target lands exactly at 0.

Not sure if everyone understands this:
1) This applies all handheld At weapons
2) This does not mean they will kill a vehicle only that they need an extra hit.

To clarify Miragefla's comment:
Handheld AT can still finish stuff off. However, due to a bug it will take 1 more hit than usual.

So if an AT Weapon does 80 damage and the Vehicle has 40 HP the killing blow will still land? Or does the bug apply to all hits that will take a vehicle to and below 0?

Also, not a COH2 patch unless there is some bug added in for flavor :rolleyes:

It is not a bug and it is NOT limited to Allied AT weapons.

For every Handheld AT projectile, its damage is split to 1/3 which is lethal damage and applied first, and 2/3rds non-lethal damage.

Bazookas which deal 80 damage will first apply 27 lethal-damage; that that leaves the vehicle with 13 HP. Then, 53 non-lethal damage will be applied, leaving the vehicle with 0 HP, but alive.

If the vehicle had 27 HP at the begining, then the bazooka shell would kill it in one shot.

This bug affects all factions equally.

shreck do 120 damage, meaning that any LV will die to 4 shots regardless.

Axis fanboys would literally riot if shreks let LVs live after getting hit 4 times

Yeah because you know, 120 muni for two and 90 muni for one.
