These manpower changes make soviets look like chumps. Even if they do a con spam start they will get outproduced by a better unit. If they tech up they would probably struggle to have even half the army size OKW has.

Yes Relic focus seems to be on OKW vs Brits/USF. Soviets kinda in a hard spot right now, I made a suggestion half a year ago to give them some kind of global upgrade when reaching T4 :guyokay:

I dont think the AVRE really deserves a fuel price increase, it got nerfed pretty heavily iirc. its no where near sturmtiger levels of squad wipe potential. in addition its in a kinda lackluster doctrine that you can only really use well if you play an emplacement kind of playstyle.

once again i ahve to ask you guys to actually play the balance preview instead of just shitposting/theorycrafting all the damn time.

#1 is that Relic is going to radically change OKW with DECEMBER PATCH!?!

remember last year when we had to play a shitty balance coh2 for 4 months (december - end of march)? Deja vu?

Relic, two wrongs don't make a right.

We complained that the Soviet supply drop was bad, so you made the Wehrmacht supply drop worse. The Soviet supply drop is still worse. All the fuel comes from one single plane, so if that gets shot down you lose all your fuel.

Yes. A couple of games agains random players , CPU expert (mainly for doctrine testing) and several ganes agains Acht Archer so i think i know what im talking about

OKW manpower change is too big. It only needs to offset the initial cost of building a truck now; so it should be 240 to 300 instead of 400.

few things to expect as well.

okw starting resources up from 240 to 340 (not 400) (this now offsets the cost of the truck + the 15 extra manpower on volks)
IG / Pak howitzer auto facing added back in now that they dont suppress
IG / Pak Howitzer now garrison damage multipler increased from 0.25 to 0.35 (this helps them clear out buildings easier)

remove 5 vet system for OKW. now they don't pay anything for it.
OKW needs munition use on various ability. I think ATgun camouflage ability should cost munition because it's too good.

Vet 5 system helps Allies though... It spreads OKW's bonuses into unreachable tiers of Veterancy.:foreveralone:

Raketen is an overpriced turd without camouflage and no way would anyone pay munis for it. The thing gets wiped instantly by anything that shoots at it and its range is terrible before Vet 2.

I still think that since OKW have 100% resource income that their truck boons should be upgrades to them such as the engineers on the mech and the AA on the t4. Since their resource limitations been nullified I suggest we take a look at their vet 4-5. Currently they allow OKW units to scale as they often were outnumbered and need the ability to over preform to justify them.

Making slight changes to vet while possibly looking at increasing how much vet they get would go a long way to make sure large team games 2-4's don't shut out allied play due to great synergism between axis factions.

Crocs AT is Joke ? I once had a frontal slugging match up close with the KT VS the croc, KT won with 1/5 health left ... The brit guy didn't reverse 'cause it really looked like at one point that the Croc is goin' to win.




Erm, maybe there were AT guns behind the Croc? Or you played a game where rules of probability does not exist

57mm at gun is an overpriced turd without AP rounds there is no way to pen anything stronger than stuart.
These thinks get wiped by anything instantly by anything that shoots at is thx recieved crew accuracy.
Its range get only fine when you sacrifice LOSand some munny at vet 1 and its pen get good at ....
Oh never. Only good when you pay constantly munny for it.

Gues whitch of them is worse when we count that one faction have easy acces to mines and second not.

One thing that I am concerned with new OKW is the munitions unchanged on many of its units. Thanks to the 100% munitions income a OKW can easily get shrecks, mines, MG34s, and other munition abilities more so. Should either put grenades behind teching and maybe some weapon upgrades.

Sturmpioneers should also get their MP44s as a upgrade now with Volks buff and their cheaper cost. Give them Kar 98s same as Grenadiers and put the StG44s at 60. Falls also should get FG42 as a upgrade set at 90 or 100.

Putting upgrades on either or both units would force the OKW to be more mindful on what do purchase.
