PaK43 needs more Range.

Nope. Only if they fix the shooting through obstacles first. I've seen the Pak43 single handedly win games on Kharkov because of that bug.

Hardly a bug, it's intended. If the Pak43 couldn't shoot through obstacles, there would barely be any places to put it except in the open leaving it pretty vulnerable which it already is given it has giant arrow over its head saying, "Bomb me!".

Could we maybe add some fuel cost in exchange for manpower? The howitzers also need this since saving up manpower isn't easy late game given how fast it can disappear in reinforcing your troops or buying units that aren't at risk to being one-shotted by off-maps because they can move.

I don't know why they changed the range on PaK43 in the first place.
It's a static emplacement after all.

Consider that 100 range is enough to park a PaK behind the tree line in crossing in the woods and all but hit the enemy base, too. 100 range may seem great for 4v4, but maps are a lot smaller for 1v1 and 2v2.


We have seen too many matches with 100 range Elephants and ISU-152s. Moreover; they are mobile units.. Pak deserves that kind of range due to its immobility..

And they got nerfed to 70 for a reason.

PaK remains at 80, it got the shortest end of the nerf stick, and still has a hell of a range on small maps.

Needs range because currently u don't even need off map,just enemy 120 mm or pack howitzer kill it efficiently.Its arc and turn rate are poor,so range and dmg are all its got.

Well if Relic refuse to increase its range than perhaps a price reduction is in order. At 500mp you have many other things to consider, like for OKW you can get nearly 2 Puppchen, for Ost you can get a Pak and Gren. For such a hefty price I expect it to be good, but sadly currently it maybe dmg 1 tank and then 2mins later get killed by off-map or on-map arty. B4 the nerf at least it can get at least 1 tanks.

I agree with the Ele but the Pak is soo damn easy to kill. It needs something. If not range then something else.

Pak 43 fine as it is. Srsly, it costs only 500 mp, no fuel, 2-shots tanks, fires through obstacles, covers large area of the map, and with vet and sturm officers buff shoots faster than hmg. Also, afair 5vet bonuses gives pak 43 +range twice.

Arty and mortars which supposed to counter pak 43 (which arty and mortars? vet 1 b4 with precision strike?) already hard countered by Stuka zu Fuss.

Also top 5 3v3 player :P (who cares, anyway)

On the flip side, it is now only 10 supply. It is now not unreasonable to build 2 of them in a 1v1 game.

And whats the point? You can build 3 paks 43 if you want and backed up with your team support they can cover entire map. For 0 fuel. In 1v1 situation is quite different, but again, for it damage pak 43 still good even in 1v1.

If you build them not between victory points and somewhere far behind then probably yes. But who you should blame for this? Pak range?
