Get 1-2 light artillery pieces out of t0. Keep them at a distance. Maxims be disappearing everywhere.

Maxim has too far range, to great supression and is far too durable with 6 man squad.

Infantry support gun or Stuka zu fuB.
If they garrison a building Stuka will one shoot it. Infantry gun is a bit less effective (takes longer) but a better choice in the long run + it doesn't offset your tanks.

As OKW, you get some early anti tank rockets then a quick T2 to a Flack half track, the anti tank rockets can kill early maxims then help fight an early t34.

How do you flank Maxims on maps with limited space, like Crossing in the Woods, or beat a guy who sends 3 Maxims to the island on Semois (talking 2v2 here)?



By onvincing your teammate to play ostheer, not okw.:D

i am a noob in coh2 but the raketenwerfer 43 always puts me alot of trouble in 2v2 vs my maxims, because it seems to have unlimited range and is perma firing (it doenst hit that often but it feels like it shoots every ~2-3seconds)

and its a t0 unit i think

ok either im completly foolish but there is a t0 unit from okw which is at and arty in one piece and fire pretty much across the whole map, 100% sure because we often get lamers in 2v2at who just spam 2-4 of these things and then mgs/paks/snipers are useless because they get barraged constantly. ( combine that with the infrarot ht and it will get soo annyoing, believe me)

That's fielded from T2, the medic truck.

Usually T0 is a HQ that doesn't build combat units.
T1 is the lowest combat tier (The HQ for Oberkommando)
T2 is the medic truck
T3 is the repair truck
T4 is the Flak truck.

That's the way our guides use it and it would be nice if you guys on CoH2.org could use a similar terminology just to reduce confusion. Thanks :D

and sory im used to coh1 and the hq is t0 there and then the next tech building was t1, next one t2 etc, why did you guys change that ? :o

hm you may seem to be right about the infanterie geschütz, but i got hitted several time from far far away and these shoots even penetraded my tanks/vehicles, but since it fires 7,5mm shells it might be able too..

That's a better situation to be in as your Ostheer ally can get insta-mortar or mortar Ht. But it's very map dependant.
