Where do you got the info that there's a F1? Haven't seen any pictures or videos about it.

One of the pictures at the start of the thread features them. Click for full size.

Psquieh: {Walking Stuka} is 100 fuel.

Crossing fingers: Jagdpanzer iv and Walking stuka will be in the same building.

Panzerfusilier???? Looks like a 5 man squad with rifles. The source picture shows them side by side with Jagdtigers, which is correct for the doctrine.

---------------------------------------------

Units not seen:

-Puma
-Jagdpanzer IV
-Walking Stuka
-Puppchen
-20mm HT
-Panzer IV short and long

=-------------------------------------------

Unit build order (tentative)

-use LW or Breakthrough
-Kubel + Volksgrens + elite infantry + puppchen supported by 20mm HT
-Hoard fuel to rush for JPz IV, and then walking stuka

* Skip Heavy Panzer and Battle Group buildings (not sure if the latter is possible).

I just hope they don't introduce I-Win buttons like the Tiger Ace again.

That stuff is the last thing this game needs.

Suppression yeah, they only seem to have the Kubelwagen as far as we've seen. No telling how the MG 34 will perform. In real life the MG 34 was just a slower 42, and the 42 in game isn't impressive, sooo.

Head to head, Bars > Mg 34... Most useless unit

A little sideline but is this just me or the MG42 from COH1 have better gun sound ?

And is this just me or the MG42 in the Bunker of COH2 looks ridiculous with that Small mag ? It's a bunker for god sake why no Box magazine ?

Back to the main topic, I like how you can move and shoot at the same time with the new BAR and MG34 :D

So, still Conscript / Rifleman fodder.

I guess Germans just aren't allowed to have good MG's. Even though they were infamous for them.

Don't trust people who can't even respect the NDA with telling you that a unit sucks.

KT is 700 MP, 260 fuel

Ostheer Panther is 490 MP, 175 fuel

SU-85 is 340 MP, 120 fuel

Command Panther is 560 MP, ?? fuel

I'm guessing the C-Panther is 200 fuel or a bit more given the difference in MP and the command bonuses.

IF..and that's a big IF..the OKW Panther = Ostheer Panther in cost than the Jagdpanzer IV could be 125 fuel plus if prior relations b/w the Stug III G and P4 are applied.

Keep in mind that OKW gets practically no resuorces from standart points, i think its a 50% or 75 percent , for example normal point gives you 3 fuel and 7 munitions, OKW for the same point gets only 1 fuel and 2 munitions.

In the stream, it took 25 minutes and only fuel spent on tier buildings to get a King Tiger. If you are looking for I-Win options, you best be looking at the Americans.

I think they lost one of their buildings and had to rebuild it. It probably cost some fuel to do that. They also built 2 buildings when with a better doctrine they only had to build one.

The fuel/muni resource in-availability leads me to think that the KT, JagdTiger, C-Panther are pretty much unaffordable in the practical sense. There's too much delay.

In the preview, the C-Panther is unlocked at the 19:00 mark (10 CPs). Their fuel was at 260 when they got it. This means that this call in is inefficient for rushing.

The OKW Panther is probably cutting it real close and the opportunity cost of getting it is probably worse than rushing for that first Panther for Ostheer.

The only AFV that's left for the earliest build is the Jagdpanzer IV.

I don't think I'm breaking any confidences given what you saw of the economy in the shoutcast last night.

My first tank with OKW is, 75% of the time, a Panther. I might go for a Luchs if I've denied enemy fuel and feel lucky.

You really, *really* need to plan your strategy / which vehicle to build as OKW. Losing any is a big deal.

That's 33%, not 50% or even close to 75%

Vehicles come REAL late and sparingly. You have to use your sturmpioneers and kubelwagen for taking over the middle VP's, possibly pushing into their fuel to survive the late game. OKW have a good early game, but they are screwed late game.

You must also prepare yourself by building up early AT somehow. Massed tanks will be coming from your enemy, and yourself having more expensive tanks and 1/3rd the income is not in your favor..

What is the point of building any light tanks/vehicles that cost fuel if they will die and harm your economy once they die? The harsh fuel income seems to pressure OKW to skip all the first tanks and go first into heavier tanks.
