Maps, which one you like and why?

I have never been a picky player when it comes to maps. I think pretty much all of the maps are cool and fun to play on. The only maps I ban are crossing in the woods 2v2 or the new Hill. I have heard plenty of comments from streamers on particular maps why they do not like them, but I wanted to ask the community what they thought.

basically what maps do you like or dislike and why?

P.S. this has nothing to do whether or not you like the winter conditions

2v2 veto
Crossing in the woods: static map. the open middle means boring isu and elefant gameplay. Flanks can be easily spotted and stopped.
Rails and Metal. Too linear with long sightlines
Maps i like for 2v2.
Semoisky winter. Nice urban map and doesnt feel as restricted as the summer variant.
Moscow is always good, I also liked oka in 2v2 but I feel i was the only one :p

Fav map for 2v2 = Semoskiy summer/winter
Worst map 2v2 = 120mm's in the woods

Fav map for 3v3/4v4 = Steppes
Worst map for 3v3/4v4 = Hill

Hill has been on my perma-veto list since it came out.. do not like the mud mechanics at all since it slows everything down too much.

I like Steppes for 3v3 and 4v4, can get a decent teamwork gameplay going on there. Rostov can be pretty fun, though strongly favors the southern base.

Do not like Oka River and City 17 for 3v3 since one guy is always stuck doing a 1v1 (or 2v1 depending on RNG base placement dice roll).

It's such a shame too, cause the original Hill 331 was a gorgeous map.

Large areas of deep snow, water, mud will always be problematic, should be removed largely on maps.

Fave maps:
Moscow Outskirts - the only map I really enjoy. Nice and wide, fun to use LOS, very dynamic with maneuverability and flankability.
Semoisky Winter, it has the least chokepoints, you can attack from surprising positions.

Worst maps:
Chokepoints in the Woods. MG to Datgun
Road to Kharkov. No flankability maps
Semoisky Summer Choke. Hmmmm... Which of the 3 exits will they choose, hmmmmm...

I love Kharkov, both Semo's and maybe Rails for 2v2.

In 1v1 its my all time fav Langres Summer along with Kharkov.

Worst maps are Minsk, Rzhev Winter for 2v2 and Minsk, Langres Winter, Crossing for 1v1.

I dont like Crossing because its all about who gets the PAKwall or the super range tank first.

I'm OK with most of the maps. The maps that I don't like are the ones with lots of chokepoints and bridges.

Hard to beat langres summer. Nearly always a good game.

2v2 Moscow outskirts ( either version) is cool.

Kharkov is turning into a bit of a classic

Worse maps for 1v1:

Kholodny Winter - The worse by far. Bad ammo point positioning plus easy access to the right side cut-off makes it way too left side favored, plus I hate blizzards.

Langres Winter - Deep snow everywhere in the middle makes it horrible.

Stalingrad - Sucks as germans, but is fine as soviets with ppsh doctrines.

Minsk - Sucks due to reduced flanking possibilities and misterious shot-blocking vegetation.
