50 more fuel for soviet t3 and t4 seems expensive but who knows what else is being changed in the patch. Like all patches, we'll see soon enough how the balance is.

Very nice changes.

My only concern is the call-in tanks. With such heavy costs of teching, is there any reason not to go T1-T2 -> Tiger / IS-2 / T34/85s?

For example, with the new teching costs it will be more expensive to call in a single T34/76 than it is to call in a tiger.

221/222 can now take a single shot from a ZiS and not explode horribly!

Call ins are going to dominate the game and Soviet t3 is going to be useless unless they've changed T34 and T70 too.

I like it and I hate it. Total cost for your first T34/76 is nuts. Same with P4s/Panthers. They need to tweak call ins I think.

Panzer Shreks although it appears it will be easier to kill them are going to be that much more painful.

Call ins Call ins Call ins I think....we shall see.

It looks like the game is gonna really slow down. If you want to attack something, you're going to have to make sure you have the exact right pathing to stay in cover all the time or you're going to get shredded.

Expect Men of War like pro replays. I don't think the casual crowd is going to like this...at all. But us 1v1 players will, should make things a LOT more interesting and tactical.

I like it. The game needed to slow down.

Great changes! I really like the idea of slowing the game down and giving the early/mid a chance to really shine.

This isn't going to be good for Sovs at all...I'm not sure they've thought through the full ramifications of this. Who has the best territory denial stuff? Ostheer...Who needs to take risks flanking out of cover? Who has the longer ranged mortar which can get Vet 3 instantly with a certain commander, which also has G43s, excellent for shredding flanking units from long range? (except for the Soviet doctrinal mortar?)

Hopefully I'm wrong.

We will have to wait and try out the new patch but you have a point. Least this may see some valuable changes to T3 units later on if they are going to be that much more expensive to reach.

The game will probably be a bit unbalanced at first, but its still a change worth having. Now they can finally balance the game from a solid base.

Conversely think about Osts Infantry preservation issues? How ANNOYING would it be to keep Pgrens alive till armor comes out and with Infantry just whipes them out....

Going to be a brave new world with Ost having the early game advantage....

Well, it may mean Grens can now actually stop a con squad from molotoving the MG rather than conscripts running to the MG to and ignoring the Grens on the approach via a flank.

Also makes Panzergrenadier far more vulnerable than ever.

wow those are important changes but I think I love them.

Seems kind of odd to have t3-4 delayed but didn't talk about call in tanks if they got delayed or not.

I like that they're making coh2 more tactical and less arcady and were listening the the player base, but given relic's track record this is to good to be true they might ruin it with dlc again. But who knows maybe they learned their lesson.
