Can we plz "fix" the CalliOPe?

I prefer armor, so it maybe can take some bounces... Pak wall + shreks just destroy the 105 easy.

If you prefer armor you're gonna have to play any faction that isn't USF, sorry.

While Brummbar is tankier and has a great vet1 ability, 105 is a good howitzer. The biggest selling point of brummbar is that it's stock, while 105 isn't. Both have their merits and uses.

I play all faction, im just trying to offer a point that in order to keep usf viable in lategame, they need some sort of anti blob that doesnt die easy like a sherman, and yes you can use smoke for pak gun, but that smoke doesnt stop it from shooting, and no a blob of double shreks dont take any risk, because they force the 105 to instant repair if its still alive.

But ok, im fine with my Armored Calliope too. so...

I made a thread about that before the scott was hit by the nerf hammer. That thing totally had it coming.
Back on my thread, the CalliOPe needs its armor nerfed so P4 can penetrate it at all ranges, maybe a mobility nerf after firing so schrecked infantry can catch up and destroy it if it is completely unsupported.

Why not just make it 2 shot like the Priest and Sexton? Keep the armor if it's too much.

The calliope is a joke no other rocket arty can drive up fire a barrage which the other player has 0 chance to survive squad wipe unless they instant retreat within 1 second and even then it can be too late. Unlike the other arty with arguably lesser wipe potential it then tanks 2 shots and retreats.

Maybe make it so it can’t cancel its barrage mid-firing

You could still shotgun it would just be much riskier
