Why easy eight is hated child of coh2 community ? İts is bad aganist vehicles and worse aganist infantry. All we want is premium medium tank like okw p4 which is good vs both mediums and infantry.Please give some love on easy eight.

Yeah the forum would burn with OKW players screaming at the shit AI damage while allies will scream their medium tanks are useless. Which would result in more TD spam.
Give those Rear Echelon some love......

Indeed, nerf ostwind, so we can see more brummbar use!
Its the only way.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

i like my 0.35 moving scatter for easy wipes on retreat (for reference p4 has 1.5 or 2), if i have to scarifies bit of AOE for it so be it

Poll is trash not looking for a proper discussion.
E8 is pretty well fine. But usf has no need for a brawler unit because they have a sniper that can also fight fisty cuffs.
The commander is more underwhelming than the E8 itself

EZ8 is fine its just in a one shitty doctrine. I hope they revamp some commanders to include EZ8s just so we can have more flavor and not see Jacksons every game.

In a faction that really doesn't struggle to kill infantry, the Easy 8 is premium medium designed for brawling with Panzer IV Aus Js. Its value lies in its great stats (health and penetration) and the fact that it is a Sherman.
Not enough people realise how powerful the vet 1 Sherman radio net is. It gives the vetted Sherman +10% reload and +5% sight range for each allied vehicle nearby, as long as one of the other vehicles is another vet 1 Sherman. Now this ability is very rarely activated since US players tend towards Jacksons or Scotts for more at and arty power. But in 1v1, being able to bring out a dominant medium tank that makes your first regular Sherman even better at fighting infantry is pretty good.
To see what I mean about the radio net, try testing 3 regular vet 1 Shermans against 3 Panzer IVs. You'll be surprised.
The biggest barrier for the EZ 8 is heavy tank meta, which is getting toned down next patch.

I wonder if we extended the time for Advance medium tank (Like Panther and Comet), Heavy tank, Heavy TD and TD should that give light TD and Medium tank a ground to play without worrying to get hit by a 88mm or TD at the get go
