Early game soviet weapon teams are absolutely cancer. Playing against triple maxims as axis is not fun at all considering we need to actually tech to get anything to counter them. When you finally get units to counter them soviets already have zis guns that launch tactical nukes at infantry
Maxim should have reduced suppression and dps to allow effective infantry counter plays while zis gun barrage should be removed to bring them in line with other AT guns

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Use green cover, adapt to the spam, don't assume you can pick a build and doctrine at 0 seconds that will remain totally viable no matter what your opponent decides to do.

Try to play againt 3 mg42 as UKF. Ost has a mortar in the building they built in minute 0.

Maybe u should try to execute the MG42 spam as Ost and report back. You'll get screwed over by the poor setup and pack up times as well as poor traversal speed.

And you wont be frontaly forced of by a sinlge squad. You will suppres large groups of inf. You can fight light vehicles without at or snares. You wont get deathlooped. You wont be one shotted on occasion by nades despite being only poor 4 men squads.

You're the one who fell for answering him in the first place lol. I've just played a 2v2 against a decent rank 300 SU with 3 maxim. He did a decent job with them. I'm not saying maxim spam is OP, I'm just saying that maxim aren't a joke as u make them out to be.

"Suppress large group of inf?" More like see your gunner getting repeatedly gunned down by the blob especially since you'll lack spotters for your mgs since you've invested most of your MP into MGs. And using incendiary rounds vs LV is fairly tricky to pull off outside a building. Won't be one shotted by nades? In what way are the MG42 crew more resistant to nades compared to other crews?

That's not a spam. He only went for 2 MGs initially and supported decently with agrens. 3+ is a spam. He only got his 3rd mg at the 9 min mark when mg spam is more counterable. By that time MG spam is entirely counterable. Would u call 2mg3gren build an mg spam? And the SU player got what he deserved, he was con spamming (4cons) so Von did what was best against that build - get a 3rd MG. Are u gonna cry about that? Wahhh somebody countered my build order!!!!
