This makes sense Barton but there is one downside to that. If you get your units vet up then they become extremely powerful which means that your opponent has no change of a comeback if you kill some of his units and he replaces them with new ones.
What i am saying is the vet units against none vet ones would be to unfair/unbalanced.


so it's logical, battle hardened veterans are way better than some random scrubs

received suppression bonuses are a big no no in my opinion....


Oh I so agree with that.

I hold the opinion that the -% to suppression and -% received accuracy should ONLY apply when in cover. Possibly something like current percentages when in green cover and half the percentage when in yellow cover. No percentage when in zero cover. Then say for negative cover have them only receive 50% of negative cover effects.

why this huge Bonus at vet2 for the howitzer?

+100% damage +253% Penetration

Supposedly because the crew switches from 'normal' shells to 'HEAT' shells. I looked at it again and you also get a 50% faster reload :S
These bonuses are different because it switches to a completely different weapon instead of normal stat bonuses
Here is the full difference file between the vet 0 (left) and vet 2(right)
You can see it also gets the ability to stun the jagdtiger at vet 2 like other tank shells o_O

By far the best bonus in the whole game but its quite hard to keep a pack howitzer alive

Two minor missing changes I spotted:

LEFH:
vet3: +40 damage on regular barrage (doesn't count for counter barrage)

Ostheer Artillery Officer Inspire:

vet0: +15% accuracy for infantry / -13% reload for vehicles
vet3: +25% accuracy for infantry / -25% reload for vehicles

Thanks for the catch, will be added soon. I knew about the inspire getting better I just forgot to include it.
Weird how they did it with the howitzer. Noticed the ml20 also has a different barrage at vet 3
changing damage from 120 to 300 :o
