Thread: Commander Update Beta 2021 - Ostheer Feedback28 Apr 2021, 12:47 PM This post is about the " destroy cover " Pioneer's ability. Right now there is only 1 Ostheer's doctrine has the ability to grant Pioneer with the power to " destroy cover " (It also come bundle with PG smoke). Is it possible to make this as default Pioneer ability just like Sapper? Maybe unlock it after building tier 2 or something? Many Ostheer unit like Grenadier / MG42 need line of sight to fight, I think letting this ability as default ability would be nice for us Ostheer player P/S: Also please lower the 251 MOP flare to 30 muni, same range and visibility as Soviet Mortar Flare please In: COH2 Balance

Yes! Make it cost 30muni, same range and visibility as Soviet Mortar's Flare and we are good to go! Please, I really love the ideal of MOP but right now 50muni Flare is simply not worth it. Pick one. The MOP merge just coincidentally affects Jaeger Armor, it's primarily meant to make the other commanders that had the MOP or the Riegel more attractive by turning two decent but not outstanding abilities into one nice package. I highly doubt it would effectively make much of a difference for Jaeger Armor, because who would really use the MOP recon with constant ammo cost over the one time upgrade Spotting Scopes. We can always look for a new replacement for the AT Strafe anyway. Camouflaged Paks would definitely be a bigger buff. Sander93, if possible can you and balance consider my ideal about 251 MOP's Flare reduced to 30muni and have the same range + visiblity as Soviet Mortar's flare? Consider Ostheer is heavy muni faction for most upgrade, 30 muni flare might make it easier for us to use and favor it, right now if 50 we rather spend 60 to get recon airplane (consider if the enemy got no AA yet). I really like the ideal of MOP but the flare cost is just too much right now In: COH2 Balance

That was a horrible decision, the commander is still just as powerful as it was before, just slightly different Commander is still going to dominate the meta for a while if nothing is changed. If this patch is trying shift the meta, fixing Jaeger Armor needs to be a priority. Cause it wasn't fixed by any definition Let's say that you remove at AT strafe from jaeger Armor then what would you replace it with? I also think that replacing Stuka bomb strike with this AT strafe is still too good because I can AT strafe Katchusa / enemies tank that step on reige mine. I'm a 2vs2 Ostheer player so Jaeger Armor before patch has always been my to go doctrine. After the patch I now put Storm Doctrine inside my lineup in case enemy going for B4 doctrine but still 80% I will still goes for Jaeger armor simply this doctrine is just too good in combination with OKW Luffwafe doctrine.
