I noticed jaeger infantry for wehrmacht wasn't mentioned (German infantry is a different doctrine). |
I believe the GrW 34 is the ostheer mortar but someone should confirm it |
Well from what I understand the p47 only targets tanks the infantry it hits just get caught up in the strafe path it wont actively target infantry.
The Ostheer close air support will prioritize tanks but will also target everything else it even says in its description that it will target enemy units doesn't specify for vehicles only.
The ability used to be pretty bad but after the buffs it makes a doctrine like jagaer infantry look really good as it provides some actual late game but for lighting war a doctrine that already has a tiger for late game it might very well be a bit too good to have those 2 in the same doctrine I don't own lightning war and haven't faced so cant discuss it much. |
I have only played team games so far, my build for early game is 2 rifles second re and depending on the situation either LT or capt, I get double bars on re to help them vet up so I can repair the pershing faster later on.
I also get some fuel caches early with second re but this is usually on bigger team games.
Late game usually goes with Pershing double rangers and double jackson if I really need to counter heavy stuff, maybe a scott before all this to soft them up and its also good vs OKW trucks, if the rifles haven't died I give zooks so they can threaten engine damage on any tank they encounter. |
The US halftrack brings down houses pretty fast as for flamethrowers 3 out of 7 doctrines have flamethrowers, armor and mechanized and rifle.
OKW suffers from the same thing even more than US since the munitions are to precious to just be trowing around grenades all the time |

Switzerland but I work at night, free time during week from 17h to 22h, Friday and Saturday night off and start working Sunday night |
The early game went greatly in my favor managed to hold my side and harass my opponent a bit, later on the kv8 gets called in and changes the game to my opponents favor
Got a p4, pack and later a stug and took out the kv8 just before the IS2 hit the field but lost the p4 and stug and opponent calls in second kv8, I go T4 get a panther and take out the IS2 but dont chase kv8 due to fear of mines or at nades, second IS2 gets called in while I get pwerfer, I use the AT loiter combined with the pwerfer barrage and that was game.

Considering the coming changes to flame weapons in the patch, no more flame crits whatsoever I think the molotov needs damage on impact in order to stay relevant not as devastating as nades obviously maybe half the damage nades deal |
well if you spot maxims only a kunbel might not be a bad idea since it acts as a scouting unit and can suppress/pin pretty fast, as soon as a maxim is suppressed send volks to flank.
Kunbel has enough life to sustain a couple of bursts just back away and repair, and from here flack halftrack is probably the best option.
If the map has enough houses you can choose a doctrine with infantry that comes out of houses so either scavange or luft, and tech medic truck into flack truck to get a p2.
Don't forget to either capture or salvage any support weapons you decrew. |
Soviet went cons into guards and 2 120 mortars, but failed to harass my fuel in the early stages of the game, by the time my fuel was harassed I already had t3 and enough for p4.
Got control of the map with p4 and even controlled both fuels at some point, once the cps were getting close for the T34 85 call in I got StuG and pack.
Was draining hard, abandoned south and secured both vps north, managed to take out one 85 before the second set showed up and later got a panther to help against the 2nd set.
Managed to wipe some squads on retreat but also lost some due to mortar and T34.
I believe this would have been much harder if my opponent had teched to t3 or t4, but since he didn't my p4 had free reign over the battlefield.
Hope you enjoy |
