What's the modifier for shocks? Did you keep in mind that every 3rd shot "bounces" off their body armor? Did you consider the larger squad size of the Shocks?
Of course i did? The shocks have no received accuracy, they have a 1.5 armour modifier, which is party negated by HMGs and LMGs.
All that outcry when okw was overpowered at release. Now the forum is trying to hush people up when accusing OP brit things as being axis only, nazi players with their conspiracy to keep the allied factions down. LOL.
You seem to be completely mistaken here. At release everyone was screaming OKW UP. It took a good 2-3 months to figure out how to properly blob obers and volksgrenadiers into death balls
they get like a 50% accuracy buff and i believe a slight rate of fire buff, so my guess is around 120~140 DPS.
In practice the ability is only useful on mowing down retreating squads however, since it also makes paratroopers have 1.5 received accuracy, meaning they die like flies pretty much to everything.
I doubt that commandos are as ridiciluos as they are in the trial version, my guess is that they will be nerfed.
Ok according to Cruzz a commando squad does 170 DPS at close range.
In comparison a whole shock troop squad does 84 DPS at close range
Commandos have a 0.72 accuracy modifier, meaning they are almost just as durable as shock troops.
Looks like they are pretty decent for the price
Hopefully these are the old, pre nerf commandos and since the trial version currently uses a horribly outdated alpha test version, i think the sept 3 ones might be a little more sane.
Yeah, faced that twice so far. First time i got lucky with my rifle squads which in cover counter shot one of their snipers, and my mortar bunker killed the other somewhere during the fighting.
Second time i had my own sniper and just used engineers (nice and cheap) to bait the pr0steer snipers into fireing, then counter sniping, good old coh1 style.
I agree tho ost snipers are really potent vs brits.

Something cheaper and tougher, fireing more often and can be combind with an ability liked marked target in team games... 1 shotting axis tanks (including OKW a more fuel starved faction) totally fair.
Sturmtiger can also be combined the the command panthers mark vehicle. With it sturmtiger would do 960 damage, AVRE with mark target would do 864.
But honestly, how are you getting your tanks hit by the AVRE? I mean, it has the same sight range as your tank, and a very long aiming time...

Maybe because relic does not balance on the whims of a single player and waits and gathers data before they determine if a unit is OP/UP? Seriously, the brits have been out for less than 24 hours. And here you are instead of trying to figure out a proper counter for a unit instantly scream OP with at best ~10 games played with the brits.
