Which Units cost 'dounble' that cons counter? Grens? Volks? If you think UC is nearly small arms immune, stop using pios at max range against it. The fact that soviets could have used sniper as a frontline unit without counter play, was a disign flow. And ost have PaK in the same tier as PGs and shrecks, yet shrecks got buff. Also, ost sniper fights against 4/5 men squads as well, so your argument is irrelevant. Also british sniper, is not ost clone stats vise, and ost sniper is better, but for some reason its still very usefull, dont see any reason why soviet sniper would become useless with 1 model, considering his stats got buffed in return. I wonder if lack of actually meaningful and impactful vet1 ability will have something to do with it. Now, I am not 100% sold on making TD have massive pop and therefore upkeep to keep them from being spammed a correct way to go. 15-16 pop per TD pretty much soft "hardcaps" it to 1 and if you want 2, you will never afford pop for any other armor. Even if it wasn't, it still is supposed to be effective and reliable vs medium armor and it needs to be more effective then 85 against it, otherwise it would be pointless to field again, as it was in the past. It was repurposed to kill literally 3 Units and compared to previous Iteration vs meds, it is bad, considering how powerful when vetted it was vs meds. Accuracy does not Play such a major role when you can shoot 5-6 shots in the same duration as you can shoot 3 now. You really are massively overestimating accuracy impact of high rate of fire weapons for dps calculation. In: COH2 Balance

And yet it still seems to perform better, has more utility, mobility and lower tech tier than its bigger counterpart. If this peculiar comparison is ignored and the fact that Soviets have two non-doctrinal TDs is forgotten I fear vital facts will be intentionally/unintentionally left out of the argument. (Feel free to check out my SU76 vs SU85 comparison automatch replays where 3 SU76s took down an Elephant head on with no mark target and easily won. If that does not count as peculiar indeed I don't know what does. Also the brutality of the massed barrages with no real reaction time can be seen demonstrated) You don't see mentions of SU-85 because there is not much to mention here. It was made bad vs meds and shifted from all round TD to a heavy tank specific counter. Its less effective post adjustments vs meds while its more expensive and risky, so its always better to get 2x 76 vs med Play then 1 85 which is no longer designed to fight them as effectively. Only reason to field 85 is against KT, Tiger or Panther. In: COH2 Balance

Go calculate the costs of what you Claim to see how ridiculous you are again. And if its so easy, provide replays of you doing that in top 200 rank. If you are unranked with soviets, np, its apparently oh so easy, so you will have no problems getting to top 200 after placement games. Side note 1: If you are using AT penals AND guards, stupid is vast understatement. Side note 2: This affects panther how? There are counters to button which cost less then button and if you get such fast tank as panther satcheled, you did something horribly wrong. In: COH2 Balance

It is very reliable with numbers and experience, while the JT AI is a gimmick given to justify a nerf. If you're using 200+ fuel multiple units on a singular MG, there better be nothing left out of it. In: COH2 Balance
