Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

This is an interesting question. Should all units have similar percentages of strength gain with veterancy? Should more expensive units get better vet, or by simply having higher stats out the gate, be more benefitted by having the same vet bonuses as weaker units? What about across factions, should vet be applied based purely on unit cost and role, or be tweaked to help individual factions with different niches? For infantry the increase in stats is almost always ~70% with a couple of units being exceptions. For vehicles its not really so easy to estimate, P4 bonuses steamroll over T34 bonuses so hard its not funny for example, from vet ability to the stats. In: Lobby |

45-55% win ratio is considered balanced actually IF PLAYERS ARE OF EQUAL SKILL, which most certainly was NOT the case if you actually watched the games. You will never have perfect 50% win rate without massive sample sizes. And sample size lower then 100 will not be even close to accurate, too few players, too few match ups and too wide skill gap. Smaller sample sizes can be indicative of 1v1 games, but not of team games, its just meaningless tournament stats, unless some combination of factions scores 70%+ wins, then you can start talking about imbalance. What is needed are USF and UKF buffs to help them in 1s. In: Lobby |

Define "without effect". Because it not causing engine damage is perfectly normal as long as units have more then 75% health AFTER the hit. 1 penetrating shot + 1-2 fausts will always snare these two. In: COH2 Balance |

Well, there is an undeniable resource difference between ost getting to T3(and getting all weapon and nade/faust abilities for free in the process) and other factions getting to their med tank tech + weapon upgrades + nades. There is resource advantage for both axis factions in that regard if you do the math. Healing is a side cost for all factions, so that doesn't count. In: Lobby |
