Comet vet sux hard its true maybe he need some penetration buff when he vet up
It is the only medium+ tank in the whole game which doesn't get reload bonus.
It has THE worst vet out of all vehicles in coh2.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

That really is irrelevant... The unit does not perform well and does not scale, this is why people don't build cons. If penals had all these upgrades and cons started with molos and AT nades unlocked, people would STILL go for penals only, because penals can actually fight. In: COH2 Balance |

I hear BARs on them are quite good, even potentially requiring a nerf, but I use them without the BARs and the damage they deal is largely mediocre. I think it'd be good if we had some tests done with paths both with and without BARs to see if that needs changing as well. I'm quite positive that 120 weapon muni investment will be quite good on any single squad in game. In: COH2 Balance |

Their doctrinal abilities are fine where they are. Their stock abilities, outside of oorah being nerfed hard(doubled the cost) are also ok. AT nades are fine, molos are just bad, vet2 bonus makes them better, but by that time there are weapon upgrades on field, making the bonus throw speed not that relevant. To be honest, I can see no other choice but either T3/T4 stock weapon upgrade or a price cut up to 30 mp(10 will do nothing and everyone knows it, it needs to be significant enough to make a difference in field presence). There is hardly anything unique about the squad, except for the fact that they are "doctrinal stock infantry" and why? Because unless you go specific ppsh doctrine, they are unusable and people tried and tried hard, failed each time. In: COH2 Balance |

You do realize recrewed weapons do not inherit vet of a squad that captured them? And out of 4 engineer units, 2 can fight and pios are one of them(excluding sturmpios and assault engies as they are their own tier). In: COH2 Balance |

Its not molos and at nades that make people go for T1..... Its maxim and conscripts being weak beyond shit tier themselves.... To fix a problem you need to identify it properly first, which you have failed to despite it being highlighted for....... 3 years now? 4? As long as conscripts will NOT scale into the late game as COMBAT UNIT it will NOT BE USED. You can't kill anything with "utility", you do it with weapons, preferably upgraded for late game combat, which cons aren't allowed to have. Give conscripts useful weapon upgrade, even locked behind late tier side tech and you'll see them in almost every single game, I can guarantee you that. In: COH2 Balance |

I´d say make the ability start on cool down like Osttruppen and increase the cool down time so you can´t just open up with Pathfinders only seems enough. It´s actually hilarious that the mighty mighty Osttruppen start on cool down for balance reasons while Pathfinders don´t. I can't see why that would be needed. Paths can't be spammed due to cost, are very bad in combat by themselves, can't take hit therefore have no map presence. You can flood the map with osttruppen and just cap it all, its impossible to do it with paths. In: COH2 Balance |

the only thing I don't like about them is how their sight bonuses carry over to recrewed teamweapons. You know how OST bunkers can self spot with MG upgrade and it's an issue? self spotting mobile 50 cals and AT guns ain't exactly super fun to play against either. But ost can do that non doctrinally as pios have extra sight and allow MGs to self spot if you recrew with them. Plus, pathfinders have pretty hefty cost in reinforcement, so contrary to ost, you're actually paying a long term tax for that extra sight. In: COH2 Balance |
