Of course we all know that the OKW P4 is individually superior. He was talking about 2 tanks vs 1 and still losing the engagement. Cost and role-wise, they shouldn't. But that engagement is decided by RNG that does not favor T34, especially vs OKW P4 at max range. In: COH2 Balance

Even small changes can have a big impact. Maybe now the trend to overbuf/overnerf units will stop. Look at this patch. Falls aside, very small changes were made and these changes are already considered overbuffs/overnerfs. Rifles being prime example here. In: COH2 Balance

These timings are important for early game engagements. 1st volk arrives at exact same time. 2nd volk arrives ~6 seconds later. Following ones arrive ~1-2 seconds later. Its not going to make or break the early game, especially since teching was made cheaper and in return, absolutely nothing was changed as by 2nd truck deployed, you have MORE MP then you'd have pre-changes, assuming you don't do more then 4 volks. They only struggled with OKW early game dominance and Volks+Sturm combo. Now that OKW early game power was reduced they are just too good considering they always bullied Grens anyway. It's true that they always beat Volks in close to mid-range but now the margin is so big that even if they have to close in they often end up winning. Plus Sturmpioneers are terrible against Riflemen now, before they could get a lot more work done in the early minutes prior to bar upgrades. OKW early game power is unchanged. Following volks simply arrive 1-2 seconds later. Nothing else changed. In: COH2 Balance

Airdrop guards come with SVT not Mosins and are allot more lethal than stormtroopers and Inf. commandos at spawn. Not only they ready to kill retreating squads but the can also steal team weapons. And its still comparable mid to long range. (also, storms start with 4 models too, they can steal weapons just as fine) Infl. Commandos come with 3 member and can reinforce to 5. My advice if you want to correct someone else try to get your facts right... That's irrelevant, what's relevant is, they start off crippled because they have no animation for any rifles, so same solution couldn't be applied to achieve similar effect of diminished out of the gate presence. It seem that the stats of some units are chosen in a vacuum and no one bother to revisit them if they are not OP units. Almost like each of these units is a completely different unit with completely different role, cost and timing, eh? Seems quite intentional to me for them to have different stats - they have as much in common with each other as T34 has with jagdtiger. Your next post is going to be about inconsistent stats of mainline infantries I guess, and how each of them has different weapon, cost, dps and entity count. In: Lobby

Losing the engagement generally leads to negative results, perhaps? I mean, you have 2 medium tanks vs 1 of his and you're still losing the fight somehow. It's like the USF players running across red cover vs sandbag Volks and constantly screaming about how OP Volks are. I highly advise you to check OKW P4 stats and compare them to T34 stats. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize why OKW P4 comes out on top. In: COH2 Balance

What elite weapons? Guards mosin is comparable to grens kar/storms kar. DPs and PPSHs are upgrades that take resources and time. Infiltration commandos spawn with their STENs and there were recently talks to make them cheaper due to spawning without one man. In: COH2 Balance
