I think reducing the sight bonus...but then su85 has this too. But yeah 1.5s delay is too nerfed, as i said, coh2 has changed to more apm action heavy over the years. 1.5s is a lot. SU-85 works completely different. It narrows its vision to a tiny cone and halves the speed. Back to ukf upgrade, i guess it does not have such penalty. I guess when we speak about ukf base tanks, we should now account for the commander upgrade. I recall it also grant faster xp. It doesn't have the same bonus either, it doesn't come in early game, it can't be put on any vehicle. Almost as its completely separate ability that shares barely one similarity. I don't know such details but i also felt allies get stronger the later the game run. At least compared to Wehr which imo is weakest late game faction for many years We play the same game? UKF and ost grow in power the longer the game goes, everyone else just keeps up, OKW as always up to debate. In: COH2 Balance

To which units? Tommies I guess, because vickers most certainly isn't offensive anti garrison unit. UKF not having stock flamer is not a disadvantage if there are other tools to deal with the same problem, garrisons and HMGs. But of course, its simply easier for some players to rely on copypasta and repeat the same tactics instead of learning new tricks... So unlock free flame nades for tommies? You're literally removing their only anti garrison asset and giving nothing in return. But the grass is greener always, always on the other side. And its far easier to copy the neighbors homework istead of coming up with fresh new ideas. That is pretty obvious if anyone asks me... If you want to copy paste other factions solutions, why even have more then 2 mirrored factions at all? In: COH2 Balance

A Churchill has better chance of killing a panther than p4 has killing a Churchill, or a t34/85 has better chance of killing p5 than p4 killing Churchill etc. Panther has more range and no reason to ever flank a churchill. How does that translate to churchill having better chance of killing panther in any other scenario then ullus classic reverse attack move? Also, churchill is slow, heavy infantry tank, panther is speedy premium med with range advantage over everything but its own hard counter. As i been clamouring for. Panther veterancy of armor skirts is useless these days. Its not supposed to be helping much for rear armor, it helps with front armor vs meds and generalist heavies. In: COH2 Balance

They, as a facton, were supposed to rely on structures. Maybe that's the way to go to retain their uniqueness. It might mean that they will never be perfect for 1v1 but will be great in larger modes. It might be hard to balance a faction with so many structures and give them all stock units other factions have. Actually, UKF as a faction is supposed to be late game powerhouse, basically allied equivalent of ost, last long enough and roll over with superior armor and its support. Emplacements were pretty much removed from the game, if faction was reliant on them, it wouldn't be competitive anymore. In: COH2 Balance

Doctrine must have abilities that reflect commander, not any "bait". It's pure AT doctrine and abilities must reflect it. IF Ml-20 could fire to tanks as pak43, it could be "bait". Mark target instead ml-20 will fit theme of commander better. Explain KV-1 in conscript support tactics then. Or anti tank overwatch in NKVD RIFLE doctrine. Sometimes abilities that function and have a purpose are better then slamming whatever you feel should go for the doctrine. In: COH2 Gameplay
