Mortar counterbarrage got buffed to 100 range. It can now quite reliably fire back on howi's, which have 80 range autofire and a 120 range barrage. Note that counterbarrage also has 0 (!) second reload, compared to 1,25 second reload with normal barrage and 6 second reload on autofire. This means there's barely any delay between the firing animations. As OKW your best bet is to spam a lot of LEIG's to keep the Howi('s) occupied. If you didn't go T1, enjoy the suffering. Barrage is 160, but its only 3 shots. In: COH2 Balance

There is slight difference - Puma can reliably fight meds despite low pen, while AEC can help against them, but certainly can't fight them off by itself despite better long range pen. They are same archetype, but their performance and potential differs massively. AEC is better support for and against infantry, while Puma is actually a light tank destroyer. In: COH2 Balance

Panther is expensive and is only useful as a 'closer' range tank destroyer that can be kited. Panther can't really be kited by anything due to its speed and vet1. It can be zoned by ATGs and infantry, but it can't be kited by any allied vehicle. And its not supposed to outrange, its supposed to outlast. In plain firefight, it beats all allied TDs without contest. Also, you seem to be under the impression that churchill is actually good against vehicles - its not, its worse then cromwell as despite it has durability and same gun, it doesn't have speed to flank or finish of anything. Its a damage sponge, not damage dealer. In: COH2 Balance
