Maybe, just maybe because RE are incredibly cheap and still performing well with the BARs. Thats why HMG>sniper against them. Its not like they can sprint or smoke against it, they don't even have good dps unless multiple squads are shooting, the very target that hmg42 counters effortlessly now. In: COH2 Balance

Both took turns playing each faction (Ost vs USF) and USF easily dominated in both games. If that's solely the result of the "bug fix" for grens then maybe USF is really op. I did. And guess what? It always looks like this first week after the changes. Guess what again? BAR buff have no impact on bar RET play, because you don't want to get close with RETs unless you have to, you just need to have multiple of them around with the weapon equipped and that isn't exactly cheap. Maybe, just maybe they shouldn't have build a sniper against allied version of osttruppen and went for 2nd HMG instead to actually control swarms of weak infantry? USF changes affect purely Rifle gameplay, especially in late game when they get to vet3. In: COH2 Balance

Well, it's not fair for everybody. You see, british sniper can damage his counter, the 222 and especially kubel, while the other snipers can't do shit against their chasers. Have you even played with brits for a single game? By the time british sniper takes a shot, 222 will be on top of it, there is no faust or AT nade to prevent that anywhere and crit shot takes ages to go off, normal shots will never kill 222, will damage it, but won't kill it of you're not extremely stupid. It needs less accuracy but higher suppression at far. Rifle nades also need range reduction when suppressed which is an ancient issue. Why would it need less accuracy? It already does less dps then cheaper HMG42 at that range. Its not bad HMG, but it definitely doesn't stand up to its price in comparison to cheaper and superior HMG42. Inb4 some amoeba comes up with "but ketetoooof, it haz suprir cloz rung di pi ez", how often do you put your infantry within 10 range of hmg frontally for extended time periods? In: COH2 Balance
