This article is so true. I'm just an average player but have won enough comeback victories that I try to never give up if I feel my partner and I have a chance no matter how small. (I play 2v2 mostly.)
Its all the sweeter when you do win in come from behind style anyways...they are the games that lead to my addiction to CoH!
My problem is in dwelling on what's wrong or not working instead of on what I CAN use that will work. I'll give a quick example.
Was playing a 2v2 on Rails as Wehr. My opponent had routed me off the field with sniper play....3 OF THEM!!! I decided I had lost, but I was DAMN SURE gonna get those snipers first. I slowly built countermeasures and picked off his snipers one by one and then built my own sniper team turning the tables to a nice (unexpected)comeback win!
That was a case of "accidentally" flipping the script that I've tried to learn from. Don't just get frustrated. Regroup, rethink and move on. Don't stay married to a strategy that isn't working.
Of course it's easier said than done, but in the heat of battle, a calm mind is the best asset you can have.
