So me and my friend Salandtwig played this 2 v 2 game vs. Russians. Nothing here to be too proud of, but considering it was our 4th game ever together and my friend had just purchased the game yesterday I thought we played rather well.
Was looking for some tips for both of us. Our micro is terribly slow we know....being old farts for the Stomach Battalion and all PLUS still getting used to the game....but any comments would be much appreciated.

Blizzards are fantastic for atmosphere...but as already mentioned kinda suck for gameplay.
Maybe if they revamped it somewhat...get rid of freezing to death or maybe winter coats a purchaseable upgrade....I dunno.
I like the idea of making it a option you can "veto" before start of game. Then those that want it would see it more often and those that don't wouldn't have to worry about it. Everyone happy! |

Have you read "The Forgotten Soldier" by Guy Sajer? Outstanding combat memoir as a member of the elite Gross Deutschland Division, he fought in all the great battles from Kursk to Kharkov.

The OKW has acces to the King Tiger. You need to have all 3 of your trucks converted into the 3 different buildings at least once. Then it is available in your HQ building

Is there a King Tiger in CoH2? If so, where/how do you get it? (Haven't played WFA yet, but do have the expansion). |
It just occured to me, we went from P2W commanders to L2W* commanders.. So basically the situation has become even worse.

It seems to me that if a couple of commander or bulletin options cause you to win/lose more often than not....
...then you need to simply get better at playing. |

Newly returning player here so excuse my ignorance since I haven't played in 6 months.
I opened up CoH2 about 3 days ago and noticed the changes including the "treasure box" you now use to view your profile, pick commanders/skins/bulletins/etc. The FIRST time I opened that box, I received about 150 new commanders/skins/bulletins that they were supposedly giving us. A friend of mine who was similar who hadn't opened his game in the same period of time also got the same box full of "free" stuff. Great!!!
A day or so later, I decided to buy the Western Front Armies (both). Since then, my friend and I have played a few comp stomps to get used to the game again and he has all these Commanders and Bulletins I don't. As a matter of fact, I only have like 7-8 bulletins for OKW and Soviet each while he has somewhere close to 80 bulletins each.
Can anyone tell me what is going on and why I don't have what he has?
I should add that I originally bought the Digital Collectors Edition and he did not. |
