Stormjäger Wrecking a PZ4 with a Jackson with max range shots on the move isn’t balance, it’s garbage. At max range TDs/AT guns should’t have as much accuracy vs mediums, thus it would require you to either get a lot of shots in quickly, vet up your units or get closer, which would get rid of the current stagnant TD meta. Getting shots in at max range requires a lot of spotting and direct LOS, this is hard to achieve, especially if you want to chase the enemy medium tank. If the allied player can pull this off, he deserves to do the damage. It's only easy to get long range hits in if the enemy is using their medium tanks as frontal assault break through tanks and their understanding of flanking is 'rush at enemy and try to blitz behind them'. Honestly I think TDs are fine as they are. Only the JP4 feels too weak with penetration compared to other TDs. I would like to see it get a bit more punch in return for a nerf to the bullshit phase shields it gets that make the tank literally invulnerable if you hold fire. In: COH2 Balance

In those sorts of games it's generally best to open with a snipe and get an early mortars to push the HMGs away rather than making 3-4 infantry squands and trying to flank. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Brummbar OP plz nerf!!!!23 Oct 2019, 11:07 AM I don't agree with some of the sentiments here in this thread. I have found the Brummbar to be quite good. It quite consistently 2-shots squads, with the first shot often already taking out a few models. It's vet 1 ability also allows it to soften up or whipe AT gun positions from a safe range. The KV8 on the other hand feels quite underpowered to me. I mean sure it clears garrisons like every other flamer, but against squads out in the open its damage output always dissapoints me. It might not kill them, but LVs these days are not super lethal anymore so you won't lose squads doing it and you will force them back for repairs, negating their impact entirely. You are playing a close game and suddenly your Zis gun or your mortar halftrack gets bugged, putting you at significant disadvantage through no fault of your own. Really demoralizing stuff that often just causes me to throw the game. The second thing that annoys me is the crutch doctrines that allow you to skip tech like Mechanized Assault. Have fun dealing with a Pak-40 wall with StugE into tiger while you are spending 200 fuel and 500 manpower just to be able to build a SU85. Bonus points when the person using the doctrine is someone already better than you who then proceeds to trash talk you. In: COH2 Gameplay
