The poster doesn't have the expansion pack and he is just looking to learn some things about OKW.
Edit: On topic, the fight was over so quickly because of some bad positioning and poor overal strategy of Jesullin.
His valuable sturmpioneers were wasting their firepower fighting med-long range against conscripts in the center. That's just a waste of valuable combat troops.
Also setting up shop in the center of semoisky is not the best idea with OKW in my opinion. They have troubles clearing troops from buildings and all the juicy resources are away from the center.
