I don't know the numbers, but the penalty for constructions seems way lower than for repairing. Moving it all to Builder units is a big no. Not a very well thought out idea at all. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: My last personal wishlist for teamgame adjustments11 May 2020, 06:54 AM I think the skill in those technical assault abilities comes before using it - in positioning your squad in the enemies backline to cut down retreating squads. And doing it in a way where you can retreat safely despite the movement debuff. Sure it requires a little less skill than throwing a grenade on retreat, but not much once you have tried it a couple of times and have figured out the timing. In: COH2 Balance

Yes! it was an allied thread complaining that riflemen were worse than pathF. Well if people learnt that needing doc tools for standard games is an issue, this is no exeption. Soviets have had this problem since release and still do. So it isn't actually that much a problem for most people. There are many Wehr doctrines with some variety of G43, 5 man squads, Ostruppen, or assault grens. Play them if you want to play meta. Play the other doctrines if you want a challange. In: Lobby

There is little reason for both pioneer and grenadier to get medkit... Stun grenades are broken as hell. If even 1 model slightly touches the radius the whole squad gets stunned. It seduces you with 100 range, but what it doesn't tell you is that the unit actually only has 60 range for hitting anything smaller than a barn. So many people will just have it sit in the back firing at max range, hitting absolutely nothing. I don't actually find the unit that bad anymore since I realized this. The unit has a retreat function so you can be pretty agressive with it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Isn´t maxim aoe suppression9 May 2020, 06:42 AM Stealing a maxim is axis is not worse than using it as soviets. The reasons maxims are bad is that the suppression is lackluster and the cone is small. It's super easy to flank and grenade the maxim (you don't even really need to actually flank. Just spacing your units and attacking from the front is enough), especially as Ostheer with Rifle nades and nuke-bundle nades. Once you hit a grenade, most crew would be dead and the rest will have low health so you can trigger the deathloop. Soviets however don't have non-doctrinal grenades, so you are very unlikely to lose your stolen maxim. Due to Oorah and the shitty supression you still won't get too much value out of it of course - but not any less value than you can get out of it as soviets. In: COH2 Balance
