The game doesnt differentiate, in anyway, between units that are in combat and those who arent. Its not like WoW or other MMOs where there is a distinct flagged "in combat" state. 2) A longer cooldown is certainly an option, but I dont see how that relates to being in combat, or not. Btw, what is the current CD on Blitz? 3) To be brutally objective, it is irrelevant whether "Blitzkrieg" as an ability related to a historical concept, here portrayed as an "aggressive and fast action", is popped either on the advance, or on the retreat. It still fits the "Blitzkrieg" concept. The concept of lightning war, can be understood to mean both. Whether it is used in advance, or strategic retreat, the action is still fast and "blitzing" in nature. Know what I mean? The game does have an in combat mechanic. It presents itself as like a pulsing red circular graphic on a units logo. The game already implements this state to regulate other activities. Check it out in your next game/stream/video. This on/off state can easily be used to control abilities and other things. In: COH2 Balance

The puma is part of a broad threat of medium armor mobility that had been removed and then reintroduced. The puma is performing on the level of a medium tank with the mobility of a light tank. Medium Ostheer tanks gain super speed with blitz at vet1. These mobility threats make the slow clumsy su-85 bad at doing it's single role. In: COH2 Balance

To be honest I kind of would like to see a normal range increase on the Tiger and acceleration decrease. Thread: Shocks20 Aug 2014, 13:16 PM Removing their armor would pretty much remove their usefulness almost entirely. I'm about 99% sure it also goes against Relics design spec for the unit, which is usually where they draw the line. I don't see an issue for OKW. There are plenty of tools for OKW to deal with shocks, including sturm pioneers to do the bulk of the work(not all of it) from the start. I see Ost suffer the most, especially with PG's being a little junky right now. Ost is still not without a counter, just they have to plan for it better than OKW does. Scout cars are pretty much a hard counter to shocks as are a well placed mg42. Light vehicles can be used to prevent smoke advances. That would require micro though. Overall, my position is that shocks don't need any changes. They can be countered upon arrival. In: COH2 Balance
