Thread: Western Front: New Screenshots and pics30 May 2014, 03:01 AM The 128mm used 2 part ammo (IIRC) and compare with the soviet 122/152 in terms of explosive filler. It packed a punch. The Elefant used a long barrelled 88mm. The 88mm HE was a good AI round (better than German 75mm HE), but it wasn't in the same class as the Soviet 122s. I think it is likely that the Jagdtiger would be a merging of the Elefant and the ISU-152. It would probably be even slower than these two vehicles, as well. Thread: Western Front: New Screenshots and pics29 May 2014, 22:33 PM That is the M8 75mm Howitzer. It was issued to US armored Calvary groups and troops to provide fire support for Armored recon. I believe the chassis used by the M8 was the same as the Stuart light tank. It'll probably be like the US version of the SU-76, but with with even less AT pen ability. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Western Front: New Screenshots and pics29 May 2014, 22:24 PM ^^ 80% of the Soviets and the German divisions were horse drawn (in terms of supplies, artillery, equipment, etc.). All regiments walked from the railhead outside of bicycle mounted battalion or companies (fusilier, which is also in the game). The Germans however, used more motor vehicles in their infantry divisions than the Soviets in order to provide life for essential support services. US infantry regiments were not fully mobile. The transport could lift a regiment at a time, but not all 3 unless special provisions were allocated. In: COH2 Gameplay
